Did you know that Indiana Jones was where “Now watch me whip, now watch me nae nae” came from? Harrison Ford improvised it on the set of Temple of Doom, but Steven Spielberg was too busy getting drunk with Short Round to include it in the final cut.
If I sound different in this video, it’s because I had a cold. I’m all better now though, thanks for asking.

Thanks for saving me some money
I’m loving the game (up to the boats section so far) !
This is not a game I would ever buy. I don't even have a machine that could play it. But I still love hearing your thoughts on it. I really feel like I'm learning something, being so bad at media analysis myself
As much they got the essence of the movies right with the story and cutscene direction I would say that the stealth section feels inconsistent, same with the combat, they could at least borrow some of the combat system from Emperors Tomb. Which this may have to do with the way it was designed, especially with the yellow paint syndrome design (also known as handholding). But it still fits for a 8 game.
One of my favorite games within the last year or 2. A lot of the points in this video didn’t bother me at all honestly, it was enjoyable all around
As an update, I’ve just finished the game and feel like I’ve been on an incredible adventure! Loved the story, characters and gameplay! For me the cutscenes being in third person wasn’t a problem, I found it complimented the first person gameplay if anything. I agree the puzzles and quests were linear – but for me this was refreshing in a way after cheesing all the Tears of the Kingdom puzzles because they were so open ended. 9/10 ! Some negatives of the game for me: came across a few bugs (minor issue), game controls felt a bit janky at times, and the wall climbing / rope climbing / swinging was painfully slow.
It’s a fun game, however it’s ridiculously grindy for those who like to complete everything. Bad level design that makes backtracking unenjoyable for several of the levels.
I agree with you on the First-Person subject, they definitely had no idea what they're talking about. I decided I wasn't going to buy the game when I saw it was in first person, I have no intention of play it for myself. Everyone said they felt like Spider-Man when they played the PS4 game, and everyone felt like Batman when they played the Akrham games – aren't all of those games in third person? I enjoy some first person games but this was the wrong decision for Indiana Jones. I'll just stick with Uncharted, it's much more fun and less cheap looking.
The fighting is horrible with the first person camera.

This game is great. I’m having such a blast!
I think its a good start to a game series. If they release a sequel, and take the good parts and improve the messy parts, I believe it could a wonderful gaming experience moving Indiana Jones to the next generation. I just completed my playthrough, I'd give it a 7/10. Excited to see what the DLC brings to the table.
Bethesda games let you switch from 1st to 3rd person at the push of a button. The Riddick games (Escape from Butcher Bay and Assault on Dark Athena), which some of these devs worked on, had a console command code to switch to 3rd person. Personally, I do not like 1st person games as they are done, because when I look down in real life, I don't just see my hands, I see the entire front of my body. I have spatial awareness, I have peripheral vision. If I were to need to walk along a cliff edge, I could look down and see where my feet are.
