I was so excited about the Indiana Jones game – then found out it was xBox exclusive 😢 and then the first person thing has put me off too – might just watch the cut scenes…
I feel like the developers of the new Indy game are undermining themselves when they don’t want to go third person in their game. Comparing it to other games like uncharted and tomb raider isn’t bad, when other games like the Last of Us and Alan Wake adopted those SAME game mechanics, then went on and became best sellers. Haha if that’s really what the devs said then I’m kinda worried for the game, creative wise.
I would watch a marvel vs capcom animated movie. Kinda like what if animation, or even rougher style animation. I agree that there should be an established Capcom cinematic universe in the film/tv industry. Totally do-able 👍🏽 and if that goes on to the successful maybe they can get the og mcu actors to do v/o work for that dream film haha 💯
The first person complaint is lame. If the game is good no one will care when it launches. If the game is bad everyone will forget about the game and no one will care if it was in first person.
American award shows have a huge bias to American actors, storys and movies. Why would you call the British one “non-diverse” when it is, it’s just more diverse among British talent, not American.
I don't want 3rd person. 3rd person is so unbelievably common and associated closely with Sony's over the shoulder movie games which in my view, aim to be more of a movie instead of being a game that plays well. Machine games is known for their incredible FPS series Wolfenstein so excited to see indiana jones in the first person format

I think it’s gonna be a fantastic game. Also that commenter who said “Uncharted is the gold standard of this type of game” is on crack. Uncharted is a major rip off of Tomb Raider and even tomb raider is based on Indiana jones, it’s full circle lol. A great circle perhaps! 😂
i dont think it wouldve mattered THAT much whether it was similar to uncharted gamewise- i mean, as good as the gaming is, uncharted is famous cause it has amazing stories and puzzles intertwined. The first pov really let me down and i wish they could do sth about it – but idk – its probably gonna be super time consumfing to fix now ;(
I’ve watched a lot of Saltburn reviews and I’ve also noticed it’s REALLY hitting with the English. It’s almost like their Joker or Parasite the way they talk about it. Very interesting. They seem to really love that story of a lower class psycho taking over an opulently rich family estate.

I like games where you can shift between 1st and 3rd, such as Fallout and GTA V.

Modigliani really has a tragic story so I love the idea
