Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is one of those movies we’ve watched and possibly had the most fun we’ve ever had on this channel, this movie has everything; insanely great action sequences and hilarious moments. Definitely a movie we’d watch again!

This film change the rating of films.Parents were pissed because of the gore.So,the MPAA came up with the PG 13 rating.

The nightclub at the beginning, IS called Club Obi-Wan, a direct reference to the Star Wars character. And in "Raiders", R2-D2 and C-3PO appear in hieroglyphs.
Willie is the most useless female character in cinema, since Princess Buttercup.
The guard who went through the rock crusher, is played by the same actor who played the German guard who went through the airplane propeller in "Raiders".

This movie is a childhood favorite. I grew up on it. Endless jokes about chilled monkey brains. It was truly the most fun era of my life.

Short Round should’ve definitely been the one to pair with Indy for his last adventure Dial of Destiny. That Phoebe Waller Bridge character was total cringe and ruined the movie.
I don't like this one much, tbh. I love Short Round, but the woman in it… uh, can't recall her name! (Seriously, have really bad memory and just dislike the character. I'm not being a passive-aggressive jerk 😂🤦♀️ Sorry!) Anyway, she's just a terrible actress 😬
Nothing against her as a person, though! Being a terrible actress might mean she's a very lovely person, actually. But her character is just distractingly awful 😳

This movie will get a bad wrap from some but I absolutely love it! and I also like the fact that it takes place before the first movie. There are so many things that I could tell you about this movie but I'm glad you picked up on the Star Wars reference with the club name but did you also pick up on the scene towards the end where Indy / Harrison gets the sword and starts to chase after the guys only to realize there were a lot more and then turn and runs? also a throwback to Star Wars. Fantastic reaction and am truly glad you jumped into this franchise. If you only watch the first three, I completely get it, the trilogy is fantastic! The fourth movie isn't bad, I think a lot of people had a hard time with the time period but the story line is actually based in some truth as it was something that our new enemy was actually working on (although so were the Americans) but the story is a little out there but still a lot of fun to watch. Don't bother with the final movie though, I am a very lenient person with movies but the final movie was just total garbage. Keep these reactions coming and I'll keep watching!!

My favorite of the female leads is Marian Ravenwood in the first one. She is the only one who is Indy's true equal. Willie Scott is just annoying. I'm sorry but I didn't like her at all. The third film is super enjoyable and so much fun because of the father/son interaction with Harrison and of course, the great Sean Connery. They are so good together. Didn't care for Temple of Doom. I think there is so much in there that was put in for shock value (like the silly dinner). They were rushing to finish the filming on schedule and some of the shots weren't completed so that they looked real enough – Spielberg himself, wasn't happy with it. If you look at the shots of characters falling from the rope bridge, it looks so fake. Even the mine car chase has parts in it where you can see the miniatures. I DO love the soundtrack though. John Williams ALWAYS comes through. The Dr. Elsa Schneider character in the third one is very pretty but even she is no match for Indy. Marian was so badass. It's the first and third films for me.
