You guys made me hafta go back and watch the last few minutes of the Rebels finale. That final scene with Ahsoka & Sabine absolutely happened after Return of the Jedi, but unclear exactly how much after. So thinking, they went off and did their thing with Ahsoka "training" Sabine, they had their fallout, & Sabine went back to Lothal and let her hair grow. Some point in our current "Mandalorian timeline" Hera convinces Ahsoka to go reconnect with Sabine. That's when Sabine cuts her hair.
