Indian Air Force's Fighter Conundrum: IAF headed for a historic low squadron number?

Indian Air Force’s fighter squadron strength is decreasing rapidly with MiG-21s retiring and Jaguar, Mirage-2000 and MiG-29 aircraft reaching the end of their service lives.

Also indigenous programmes like LCA MK2 and AMCA facing delays and the endless procedural delay of the MRFA programme have become huge concerns for the IAF. In the video I have discussed all the fighter types in IAF’s inventory and a detailed analysis on future inductions planned by the Indian Air Force.

  1. the problem with India is classic analysis paralysis. So, whatever the reason, Indians are not able to decide which aircraft needs to be inducted in 100's and keep on changing the selection criteria. Stupid incompetent govt. officials and incompetent HAL.
