  1. Hahahahaha…How, Just HOW is this any kind of a "surprise"? This should have been seen way back when….they bought the damn things!! ALL military hardware and especially fighter/bomber jets that operate in high G environments have a very distinct lifetime. Now this can be extended with serious repair/rebuild programs such as the multiple timers they have upgraded the US B-52. (just as an example of serious upgrade programs , although B-52s do operate in a punishing environment at low altitude high runs, though this has been mitigated with cruise missiles.)

But in the end as with all machines, one day even in spite of top notch maintenance they wear our become unreliable and therefore dangerous.

  2. It's often a coloumn news, Mig21
    crashed. Anyone knows how many
of them fell down, how many brave
men lost their lives. Our Govt never
thought of it. At last it came. Thanq

  3. 2 percent of GDP(net of inflation) is what India spends on its armed forces.China spends 7 percent of its GDP officialy,it is almost double in actuality.China's GDP is ten times that of India.Every govt. Including Modi's have decreased India's defence budget.Indian pilots should refuse to fly till enough budget allocation is made and 200(minimum) jet fighters are ordered for off the shelf delivery.

  4. Indian Govt. is SQUARELY RESPONSIBLE for forcing its pilots to fly machines more than well past with its service life. However, the govt.constantly procure newer cars and aircrafts for their use and their is no budgetory constraints for the same.

  5. A Russian Dagger missile destroyed the Patriot complex near Kiev.32 patriot missiles failed to hit the Dagger missile. The damage is 96 million dollars. what kind of protection is this? Shame.

  6. Replace them already. There are likes of F-22 Raptors being the most air dominant stealth fighter in the world. But knowing Indian government, they will procure jets from Russia, at least go for su-35 flankers, like Iran is upgrading their own IAF.

  8. This is fake news. Actually only some terrorists claiming to be authorized IAF spokespersons with modi regime approval have made this announcement, it's easier now because kejriwal powers have been removed. In other words the fascists have pretty much carried out a coup de etat in Delhi and you never suspected because the news didn't tell you because fascism owns these channels, see that's why this one is claiming "Terorist agents trying to ground Indian military hardware" = "IAF". The terrorists don't like mig 21 because it can quickly patrol whole length of 🇮🇳 border and is a cheap aircraft that won't cost a billion even if shot down near the border.

  9. I am assuming that IAF is taking all the precautions and maintenance of Mig21s flights. But accidents are happening constantly since last 35 years of my knowledge. Hope IAF will find a better solution ❤

  10. The aircraft was never meant to fly that long. Unlike more modern fighters that are built to fly 50+ years (f15, f16, su27 etc), this aircraft wasn't. The mug 21 was meant as a cheap and disposable aircraft, a modern take on ww2 idiologies, in case a 3rd world war broke out and numbers did matter. India is solely at fault here. Its not just the age, but the sheer number of flight hours.
