India preaches peace and yet is getting friendly with the most warlike country in the world. It looks like India wants to aggravate the trouble with China taking part in war exercises at China's doorstep. IMO, it should not be BRICS but BRCS. India should take a lesson from how the US is treating their allies, the EU and NATO members.
When war comes, only India will be facing China and NOT THE US. US always like to put on an Hollywood style show and then you do the fighting because it is dangerous. Like in the movie “Indiana Jones” – quote “It is very dangerous, you go first”. Listening to the US, then you will be a damn fool.

India is a very corrupted country and India thinks it's more important and bigger than what it really is. Most people and countries in the world don't pay much attention to India, and India is so many decades behind many countries in the world.
I think China didn't want to have war with India, but China doesn't care much about India either. India needs to think twice before making any stupid move, and India should realize the differences between China and India.

I would understand the genuine concerns of India regarding the Chinese threat. So i would understand the QUAD and the Military exercises. However I would also be worried about the United States angle. The United States is hell bent on somehow Break India-Russia relationship. In some cases they Directly admitted to that intention (looks for Anthony Blinken's comments). So far India has maintained the balance. I hope they will do so in the future. Remember "Being an enemy of the United States is dangerous but being a friend of the United States is fatal".
I would be very weary for India. It is important to keep in mind that India had just gained independence only a short time ago.
