From brain patches that have the potential to repair damage in the brain to AI technology that can read minds, the advancements in science and technology are truly astonishing. Imagine being able to enhance your brain’s functions or even communicate telepathically with others using artificial intelligence!

But before we dive into these incredible discoveries, we have an exciting announcement. We know you love giveaways, so we’re giving away a $50 gift card to a lucky viewer chosen by YouTube’s random comment picker. Stay tuned to the end of the video to find out how you can participate.

Now, let’s talk about brain patches. Scientists have made groundbreaking progress in repairing damage to the brain using organoids of human brain neurons. By transplanting these organoids into the brains of traumatized rats, researchers have witnessed remarkable results, with the potential to restore vision and other brain functions. Imagine the possibilities if we could enhance our own abilities through similar methods!

Next up, AI telepathy. Thanks to advancements in artificial intelligence, mind-reading is no longer confined to science fiction. Researchers have developed a method that combines functional magnetic resonance imaging with AI to generate images of thoughts. While the initial focus may be on aiding those who have lost their ability to speak, the implications of this technology are far-reaching. Could we one day track and control thoughts, as envisioned by Orwell? Share your thoughts in the comments below.0:00 Incredible technologies

First up, resurrected worms! Scientists have achieved the seemingly impossible by reviving a nematode that had been frozen in permafrost for a staggering 42,000 years. This extraordinary feat opens the door to the study of other frozen creatures and raises intriguing questions about the potential consequences of resurrecting ancient life forms. Should we prioritize fixing the issues of the present before delving into the past? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

Next, let’s talk about smart robots. Over the past year, we’ve witnessed remarkable advancements in humanoid robotics, particularly in the integration of artificial intelligence. Google DeepMind’s Robotics Transformer 2 (RT-2) is a groundbreaking model capable of understanding both text and images, allowing users to communicate with robots more intuitively than ever before. Similarly, research collaboration between Stanford University and Google DeepMind has led to the creation of Mobile Aloha, an open-source robot with impressive capabilities, from frying chicken fillets to covering the host with a blanket. With each repetition of human actions, these robots learn and improve, paving the way for a future where robots seamlessly integrate into our daily lives.

  1. You guys do a great job on putting together the information from around the world with a little bit of fun on top of it, making it that much more enjoyable. Most importantly, I wanted to thank you for using both English and metric numbers on your description of items.πŸŽ‰

  2. I remind you that you invited Comment.

I certainly have been informed by earlier PRO ROBOTS videos. This one wasn't very good. The writing isn't right. The whole atmosphere goes dark and cruel (Osaka research) without reason.
You're sounding like a traitor trump supporter. Why the negative toward a major ally (Japan)? Bad move. Only fools make enemies where they could make friends instead.

I had never heard of a show titled 'Fortitude'. I still don't know what it's about. Do you?
You ask us questions and you don't answer them. That sucks.
The company building the atomic power units had an answer for you – as to what they will do with the units after 40 years. Why didn't you share it with us?
You're a trump supporter, aren't you? You're coming across as one. Shame on you. Educate yourself. Inform us better.
You should have told us the estimated age of the frozen worms. Take a Journalism course, please! Wow. We expect you to do due diligence, not half-assed stuff.

IF you're going to get into complex stuff, be prepared to do the work to get what would be the FAQ (Frequently Asked Question) answers. It's called Journalism.

We've been able to see crude images from human brains for more than 10 (TEN) years.
The whole idea of seeing what one is thinking is a completely different thing. We are not at all seeing thoughts, only images.

YOU said 'Late last year'. Which YEAR was that? You should ALWAYS STATE THE YEAR IN QUESTION. HELP The People! There is no need to add to the confusion. Sheesh.
You want a better world or not? Be CLEAR and ACCURATE if you're going to do these videos. Otherwise, find a different hobby.

Talking about the vision research, your copy uses a 'but' when no 'but' was needed – talking about the rat's vision had a problem 'BUT' the organoid took root. One had little to do with the other. If it did, the research group would have shifted that rat to 'ineligible'.
Yeah, vision wasn't working right, but something could still grow. No 'but' was needed and somebody should have pointed that out during rehearsal.
YOU should be more critical of what you write. You're supposed to be your biggest critic.

WHY didn't you fix your upper wear? It looks like you have a LUMP of some kind on your shoulder, Next To Your Face.
You should have caught that LUMP pre show. How silly of you to hang that top so the clothes hanger can deform it that way. Most of us learned not to do that as teens.

Image is important. You dropped the ball here. I recommend staying behind the camera.
You have the perfect persona for radio. The truckers will just love you…then you can run for Governor then do prison time for financial misappropriations.

If you have hair/back lighting, it's too weak or mis-aimed. That sort of lighting is added or removed to taste. I probably just don't like your taste.
Good Video isn't easy. You probably should not invite Comments. Good journey.

  3. People staring at there screens. In the late 90's I was that type of person. People looked weird at me "what is this guy doing". Now day's I look at people, trying to talk to them. Most ignore me and now I think. What are they doing……………….I refuse to stare at my screen.

  4. The real question that burns through the minds of viewers is whether 'Nick' is a live person, an avatar, or a total AI orchestration? Any why did you pick your choice?
I suspect 'Nick' is an AI orchestration because 'he' never seems to blink!
