Incredible Rescue – Car Crashes 250′ Off Bridge! I never post fatals, and it’s obvious that the driver lived. Believe it or not, very minor injuries! It’s hard to see but as he went over and down the hill, the car got wedged and stuck, which prevented him from falling all the way down. Search and Rescue was on sight to extract the driver, then air lift him for safety. What an amazing job they did in conjunction with the FD and authorities on scene.
Once the driver was taken care of and the helicopter gone, Alex was tasked to retrieve the vehicle using Big Flipper, our 75ton rotator. Both lanes on this road were closed for hours already, so Alex made quick work on this one. After literally repelling down to the vehicle, he used two BA car straps that were already hoisted down to connect to the strongest parts of the car.
Once back at the top, it was just a matter of winching in and upright the car so he can set it directly onto the flatbed driven by Vicente. This made for a quick and easy car recovery and allowed CHP to open up the road and let everyone stuck finally get to their destination. So much can go wrong on these jobs, but happy everything went so well all things considered.

Hi I like your videos you might want to look into your hippa laws in California here in Illinois and in Missouri you can’t record of any patience it’s a violation of patient confidentiality it shows him coming up in the basket and going to the helicopter 🚁 I would blur that part I work in the hospital field
Another great video, I was surprised that you absailed down and not used the other winch to lower yourself down with your remote, but you worked hard on that recovery. You asked the fireman about the climbing rope, I can tell you that after the rope has been used, so many times it is condemned for use as a climbing rope for safety reasons, but if you can get them they make great tow ropes for car or kids swings , stay safe and well all
