  1. "EffieDee" or may be they should have called her "FED" hehehehe. Just kidding (tho I I guess am just having pointless fun with a name don't mind me)
BTW It look quite pretty I like the animation the ideas of combat is also kinda nice.
I got a question tho is the story/character super interesting or not so much (the tactic is a fun way to be creative and weird so may be it just worth it for that. + it a small budget game so that also nice I can get behind smaller budget game If they are truly passionate about there work it always show)

I like Dark deity it was fairly good and they had good ideas tho I think the game suffer form being a bit too long overall so there a bit of a fatigue pass the 2/3 or something. (kinda like Radiant dawn a bit)

  2. Nice to see you cover this. Would love to hear your thoughts on a comparison between this and Drak Deity.
Also love how our party comps are completely different:
I have a healer in every party, you have a dedicated healer unit
I use only main characters as leaders, youve got a couple of generics as leaders
I hate the archers and focus on physical preferably cavalry units
Yet we both having a blast. Its always a good thing when a game rewards different approaches.

  3. I love Fire Emblem and I LOVE the original Ogre Battle, this seems right up my alley!

And then you mentioned Suikoden later in the video, is this game pulled directly out of my brain?

  4. I wish you'd at least acknowledge that dark deity was made by a person while they were going through school on a limited budget. Bugs aside, it's well worth the sale price if you're into classic fire emblem games. Also, helping support the dev increases the chances of them putting out an improved srpg in the future, gotta help the little devs too

  5. Guys, as far as I know this is a sequel for one of their FF-style RPGs, does anybody know if this game and Echoes of Astheria are the only story connected games or their other games also share universe etc.?
The full package is 67% down so I get the package anyways, I just wander if I should try out other games before those two or prioritize those two to get to Symphony of War story first.

  6. I love the game and had a lot of fun in my first playthrough, but as it is I'd hesitate to call it the deepest. Warlord really doesn't require you to go all out in optimizing your squads or using super elaborate tactics. But I'm hopeful it'll get there with some patches, the squad system in general and the unit diversity is a great base.

  7. My favorite thing about this game is it has a lot of catchup mechanics for lower level units even at high difficulties. You can feasibly have a pretty large amount of strong units. My only problem with it is that it was a little too easy. I finished the final map on the hardest setting in 2 turns which was a bit underwhelming.

  8. You don't need a new term to talk about Units in Symphony, since Units actually means a collective of soldiers performing a function: eg : a squad of only healers is a healer unit, a squad of archers is an archer unit and so on.

  9. Working on an oger battle 64 playthrough rn. So you sold me on this game. Sorry I can't watch the vid and get spoilers (of any kind, not saying you spoiled it. 15 sec into video). Ty for the rec.

  11. I'm in the extreme early stages of making my own SRPG, might give this a look as it has a bunch of similarities to what's "planned" and I'm not even half way through the vid

  12. Took me completely by surprise, right out of left field, and have been really enjoying the game for its price tag.

Between this and TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, it's been a pretty great month.
