  2. Whether you think it's 80's music or not. As an Australian, we have been aware of John Farnham's amazing voice and talent for decades. He's no secret to us. He can sing anything and as a personality he is approachable with a great sense of humour. I have seen him numerous times in concert and he is always amazing.
I saw him in concert with Olivia Newton-John…….they were great friends and their concert was fabulous.
We are proud of him and ,yes, he is "The Voice." I saw him sing with Tom Jones once. Fantastic!

  3. Oh yes, yes, yes!!
Aussie Royalty at its absolute finest. You cannot miss with Farnsey, lives are always freakin phenomenal.
One worth looking into is the “audio only” sound check version of Black Dog (LZ) that was recorded, for this concert – AMAZING!!
Thank you for reacting & to who ever requested it 👏👏👏❤️🇦🇺

  4. This whole concert is iconic in Australia and John is a national treasure. His career spanned from the 60’s onwards and hit the peak in the 80’s & 90’s. Sadly we will probably never hear John sing again due to his recent surgery for mouth cancer. 😢 John is, and will always be, “The Voice” of Australia. ❤ Despite his chance at international stardom, this man chose not to compromise his integrity and chose to stay here in Australia with his family. John is one of the most genuine people you will ever meet in your life, what you see is what you get. A talented, funny man. ❤ John is always 100% better viewed live. He gave his heart and soul into every performance. ❤ Fact behind this song….although Chris didn’t think John had the nous to do the song justice, John and Glenn Wheatley wanted this song badly enough that as John was broke financially at the time, Glenn mortgaged his house and his whole life against the song and the album!!! Luckily the song was a massive hit (and still is 40+ years later) and pulled them both out of the pits! You’re The Voice is an Aussie national anthem and always will be.❤

  5. I love that you're singing along before you've even heard it through once. It's a march. A chant. An anthem. You'd be hard-pressed to find an Aussie that didn't know the words. The song is amazing, and John is THE singer. I wish I'd seen him live while he could still perform. You should definitely check out more of his stuff. He is probably Australia's most loved musical artist of all time.

  6. did he just say, John had a hit called "Sadie the cleaning lady" then sang You're the voice? that's like saying Pavarotti sang a Christmas carol at school then got into opera, lazy research is all i can say.
