In Response to Netanyahu | Maajid Nawaz | EP 337

Watch Jordan Peterson’s “Vision & Destiny” on DW+ https://bit.ly/3KrWbS8

Peterson draws upon his extensive research and relatable real-life experiences to illustrate how to develop attainable goals for intimate relationships, meaningful friendships, and your career. Transform the chaotic potential of the future into actuality — with a vision.

Maajid Nawaz launches this in-depth discussion with a rebuttal to Jordan Peterson’s prior interview with PM Benjamin Netanyahu. From here they discuss the affinities and gaps between Islam, Judaism, and Christianity, and explore the origin of ideology, as well as the technocratic tower of babel we as a species seem to be constructing.

Maajid Nawaz is a British anti-extremist, political commentator, activist, and podcast host. He was recently “released” from his LBC radio show for his views on the covid 19 pandemic, and has roots as one of the original named members of the supposed Intellectual Dark Web, along with characters such as Douglas Murray, Ben Shapiro, and Jordan Peterson.

Dr Peterson’s extensive catalog is available now on DailyWire+: https://bit.ly/3KrWbS8

  1. Israel economically strong, no wonder 😏
Morally strong? That one must be a joke!
The UN is a criminal organization.
    Israel is an apartheid state.

  2. I wish more people on the right knew the truth about Zionism and the atrocities that have been committed since it’s inception – how the project of Israel was not devised for the Jewish people but as an extension of the evils that included all the others of the 20th century and are culminating now. Like the Russia/Ukraine war – there is so much upside down reality presented on this subject that one could be forgiven for not separating wheat from chaf – but Jordan dug deep into nazism and communism – I wish he could do the same with Zionism – I do so appreciate Jordan trying to learn more about this – but there is too much history and hidden truth to be revealed in one short podcast- I dearly hope he digs deeper and reaches into the vast amount of Jewish voices that have been systematically silenced for decades who have spoken against Zionism whom, quite obviously, are not anti- Semitic- or even Muslim. I despise the fact that Zionism has claimed the title Semitic as well btw – because most actual Semitic peoples are in fact Muslim. Too much to say here – and I may well be misunderstood – enough too say that Israel/Palestine is not AT ALL what it seems .🥲

  4. Zionism does NOT equal Judaism – nor is it or has it been anything good for Jewish people themselves let alone Muslims and the whole planet— maybe those who understand that CRT is not synonymous with Black History or Black people can begin to understand what I mean – Zionism is like CRT taken to its extreme end – ironically and tragically much like nazi-ism – which began as an “oppressed” against “oppressor” narrative as well … like communism too 🤔

  6. There is no black and white with regards to Netanyahu.. it is a bloddthirsty war criminal, child murdere, period. No right wing no left wing no nothing.. just facts. Just sitting with him and acting he has some kind of credibility is a crime in itself.. shameful display it was.. except if we consider palestinian lives as inferior to other people's lives then we can have another discussion, I hope that is not the case.
Netanyahu is a shame for the beautiful abrahamic religion judaism. Every jew should take a stand against this war criminal and his like in the israeli elite.. they just kill like it's nothing.

  8. A amazing interview as always Dr Jordan, thank you Maajid and DR Jordan, but unfortunately you still did not get a high ranking official from the Palestine government to see there point of view, you have done 2 interviews with high ranking government officials from the Israel side.
    Thank you again.

  9. This conversation was fairly pointless. In the 1990s, the Israelis were desperately trying to give the Palestinians a state and the Palestinians rejected it. Both sides are not using exclusionary languages. The Palestinian Authority Charter has never been changed and it is still active. It still openly calls for the destruction of Israel. The Hamas Charter calls for the destruction of Israel. There is no mystery, there is no missing information. The Palestinians are weaker, but their sole singular obsession is to destroy Israel. There will be peace when the Palestinians want a state more than they want to destroy Israel.

  10. Islam does not seek equilibrium with Jews, but rather the idea that Jews must be submitted to live under Muslim law. The Muslim world does not like Israel, because Israel is a rebelling Dhimmi.

  11. This discussion is supposed to have been about the unwrapping of the ahistoroical narrative that Netanyahu chose Dr Peterson to get past (Peterson/Netanyahu interview of last month). Unfortunaltely, it was not. Enjoyed it , but please try again.

  12. The west is built on Judeo Christian values, not islamic. It's the reason that the west is the most prosperous and the most stable, and why the islamic countries are hell holes. The proof is in the pudding. There has never been a greater force for good in the world than Christianity.

  13. It seems incomprehensible how, after almost one hundred years, Palestine-Israel discussions still include the back and forth: "This was uninhabited land"… "No it wasn't". It's as if conceding this point would mean the end of Israel. Surely when smaller Israel was recognized as a state, in 1948, the fact that there were Arabs living in Palestine, prior to this date, became irrelevant? Why does this sticking point persist? Why the apparent need to base the legitimacy of Israel on a lie?

  14. Jordan, I see that "youtube" or whoever took down your last video titled, "Please listen to me, My last Warning" I believe it's time for you to start a Rumble or Truth social media pages and stop this blocking of freedom of speech. NOT strange that is pretty much what that video "My last Warning" was about.

  15. Oh I really hope Dr Peterson invites Imam Dr Omar Suleiman soon! To discuss theology and life. They are both intellectuals that I admire, with seemingly contrasting temperament! That would be enjoyable!

  16. The problem is that Palestinian leadership isn't democratic, and other non-democratic entities benefit from the conflict.
Yes, the conflict CAN be beneficial to democratically elected individuals in Israel; however, nobody would argue that the conflict is beneficial for the Israeli electorate. The nature of democratic systems is such that there are competing forces, and generally the one that's in the best interests of the electorate wins. So while some Israeli politicians can score some political points in short term, the status quo is actually detrimental to their political aspirations in the long term, as competing politicians can offer viable alternatives. With the Palestinian leadership the calculus is totally reversed. If the conflict stops, their people may be happy for a second, but ultimately that loosens their grip on power and coffers, which they just cannot have.

  17. Hebrew was "revived" and grammatically altered for everyday use. The "לשון הקודש" ("the holy language"), on the other hand, in which the Torah is written, was never really "dead". It was intentionally unused for mundane dialogue as to not desecrate it. Most Jews still knew and used it while studying up until very recently. The Yiddish, Farsi and Arabic etc dialects were used in place of it for mundane talk.

  18. That's why Jews have The Torah and the Oral Law, which was originally not written down, but then was encrypted into Talmud when the Oral Tradition came under threat from the Roman prosecution.

  19. I can't shake the feeling that Maajid is using the inclusion as a weapon to include muslims into everything, and the source he keeps referring to goes straight back to islam and Mohammad, not Christ or any other religion

  20. "The love of the Father absolutely individualizes each personality as a unique child of the Universal Father, a child without duplicate in infinity, a will creature irreplaceable in all eternity. The Father’s love glorifies each child of God, illuminating each member of the celestial family, sharply silhouetting the unique nature of each personal being against the impersonal levels that lie outside the fraternal circuit of the Father of all. The love of God strikingly portrays the transcendent value of each will creature, unmistakably reveals the high value which the Universal Father has placed upon each and every one of his children from the highest creator personality of Paradise status to the lowest personality of will dignity among the savage tribes of men in the dawn of the human species on some evolutionary world of time and space.

This very love of God for the individual brings into being the divine family of all individuals, the universal brotherhood of the freewill children of the Paradise Father. And this brotherhood, being universal, is a relationship of the whole. Brotherhood, when universal, discloses not the each relationship, but the all relationship. Brotherhood is a reality of the total and therefore discloses qualities of the whole in contradistinction to qualities of the part." The Urantia Book, Paper 12, Section 7
