I only saw the edditted version, I had liked both of their content, In Praise of Shadows work had been generally well made up until this video, I actually wonder if this isn't Breadtubers attempting to take down people they distrust would not surprise me, perhaps since that stated by him mirrored a number of people that were at the very least name dropped if not out right focused on in the much better made piece by his other fellow breadtuber Hbomberguy.
    I generally like all forms of media, though am one who prefers film to be the Artisan pieces mentioned by In Praise of Shadows but I have my own known reasons for staying away from those type of cons, truth is there are a lot of people who say they like "Horror" movies but what they actually like is getting off to people being brutally murdered, there is more of this type of thing than I think most people realize. Not shitting on anyone here, but I am saying that it is someone sus' to me that this was not mentioned once in a video that when I saw. Rather "Conservative Horror Fans" someone being conflated with Kevin Spacey. I still like the guys past videos, but I don't see much of a future, I really hope he showed this to other Breadtubers first, as if they are going to try and take someone down I'm pretty sure from seeing the less honest one's who use optics to appear correct when actually they are building up a load of bullshit for you to get distracted by and then be justified in hating someone new for having slightly differing opinions and beliefs. This coming from someone who once leaned left before leaving the whole two party system bullshit and just aiming for the making sure they all get called out for their endless bullshit, hey In Praise of Shadows could always become a politician and attempt making change that way, but going to be hard for him to probably even look at himself in the mirror.

  4. Okay, I just remembered a possible reason why IPOS could have thought Wendi following him was a 'threat'.

    Really shitty people usually do that to 'keep tabs' on a person when they want to find a 'gotcha' moment to paint them as a bad person. It's like people who constant look themselves up on Twitter to see if people are talking about them. It's more narcissistic behavior.

    Also Zane is 29.

    He was also YOUNG when he started too so I don't know what the fuck he's talking about Wendigoon's age.

  6. Goku do we share the same braincell? I've always made it a point to say I'm a decent person and never say I'm good. People will take anyone that says they're good and think they are perfect which isn't possible. It's crazy. Extremism is one of the biggest problems now-a-days.

  10. It makes me super sad because you can tell this came from a place of white hot jealousy. He wants so desperately to be loved and admired for his work (literally said “horror is love” like to be loved for his content is his magnum opus) and he handled that jealousy in the WORST way anyone could. It’s ok to be envious of more successful creators, I’d be willing to bet all but Moisty himself envies a creator, but this was an unprovoked shitshow, i have a very hard time feeling bad for him, but it’s hard not to feel sad about it all. He destroyed himself to destroy others, that’s legit a sad way of life.

She was fired because she rolled her eyes when the sister of a woman kidnapped by Hamas said she hope Brianna would believe women when they said they were raped. You know that whole believe women thing that you guys say when your trying to hold up supreme court nominations on no evidence what so ever but apparently forget when someone non Caucasian is doing the raping.

    He is completely unrepentant. He says he just wished the attack was better executed. He is not regretful he made the attack he is regretful he didn’t succeed in doing damage.

I really don't think IPoS was railing against Wendigoon nearly as much as he was railing against the strawman archetype of conservative Christian that he has learned to hate with extreme prejudice. He's taking the religious and political aspects of Wendigoon's public life and blowing them extremely far out of proportion so he has a target he can aim all of his vitriol at, even though Wendigoon is nothing like the distorted portrait IPoS has created. I speculate that he didn't research Wendigoon because he already had this warped perception in his head based on the few details he saw and gathered from Wendigoon's other haters. This is also why he brings up so many other creators: they're all the same stereotype he has created, so he can just fire shots because he can't distinguish them as separate entities and instead conflates them everyone outside of his echo chamber as racist, homophobic gun-nuts that are ruining the world with their hate-based politics and delusional religious beliefs. Maybe he didn't research them because there's some trauma there that he doesn't want to confront, so he's just lashing out at these strawmen out of deep-seeded spite.

    I hope he takes a step back and realizes that he is too lost in the sauce and that good people can exist outside of his echo chambers. He's the victim of an internet culture that encourages outrage at people who even slightly disagree with you, and while he's responsible for his action (making the video) and deserves the backlash, there's something deeper at play here than surface delusions caused by way too little research. I also hope the backlash at his video doesn't cause him to further recede further into extreme hatred; this could be a learning experience that he grows from, or it could be a catalyst for him to become further entrenched in his bigotry.

    Honestly, as he is now, I think he's a bad person, but I also nearly got stuck in that brand of political brainrot a few years ago, so I think he can recover. Guy really needs to stop trying to make youtube a full time job, it's clearly made him super bitter and it's costing him his joy in life.

Like spreading a false r*pe accusations, which could be taken as fact, and then while apologizing saying "I didn't think you were worth my time" is insane. Especially given the obviously dangerous implications.
