Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, is due to speak at the UN in New York City.
It comes on the fifth consecutive day of attacks between Israel and Hezbollah since the IDF launched its ‘Operation Northern Arrows’ in Lebanon, which has killed more than 800 people, according to the Lebanese health authorities.
Israel has so far resisted international pressure for a ceasefire, with Netanyahu on Thursday telling the IDF to “continue fighting at full force”.
