  1. The encounter with the huge snake was one of my favorite passages from Fawcett's book. He tells the encounter with this snake in a very sober manner without any embellishment or exaggeration. He said the snake was surprisingly slender for its immense length "but it had probably been long without food" he remarked.
The largest snake I have seen in person was Cassius, a 27-foot-long Anaconda that resided in Knaresborough Zoo in England.

  3. PJ, idk if u ever heard of Wartime Stories. It’s a very good channel ,talks about paranormal stuff with a military perspective. Anyway there is a story about a squad that encountered a massive snake called El Diablo or something. Highly recommend checking it out. If the story is to be believed the coils of its body slamming down onntop a water buffalo or similar animal were enough to stun the animal for the snake to eat it whole . I can’t remember exactly how big they said it was but I imagine it would be estimated close to the biggest ones u discussed 100 ft long bigg around as a school bus

  4. When you announced this S America series for Cryptos, I was excited and said to myself, hope he covers the Mapinguari. Great job, PJ!
There's a very good book and movie based on Percy Fawcett called The Lost City of Z.

Cant wait to hear about the spider the size of a Volkswagen.

    Happy Thanksgiving, PJ!

  6. Snake bones are very brittle and this is why no bones have been found. There were millions of dinosaurs yet we have found compla tiny tiny tiny percent of the bones. What i beleive 2 complete dinosaurs? Snake and bird bones are gone in no time. Maybe dragons were both like a reptile and a bird if they existed as well. Every ancient civilization talks of dragons
