Improving melee fight | GameDev Challenge 2/20



OMAPELI Alpha demo is coming out soon but the game is not ready. I made a crunch plan to get the game into a better state in 30 days (or in 20 days since I left the weekends open). Each day I work for a feature, and if the time runs out, I move on.

Today, I worked to improve the melee fight: I set to add blocking, evading and parrying in the game. The goals, almost reached! Animations are still really coarse but this can be improved in the future.

Omapeli is an upcoming 3D action-RPG game setting in a mediaeval fantasy world. You can fight with melee, bows and magic, craft and do quests. Some survival elements also. Everything is open really 😀
