Important Detailed Tropical Update – 3 Big Waves Coming – Hurricane Formation Soon?

We have a monster tropical update as the latest global models, such as the ECMWF and GFS model, continue to indicate 3 big tropical waves coming off of Africa that have chances of becoming our next tropical storms, hurricanes, or even major hurricanes. In fact, the 00z GFS run showed 3 hurricanes and 2 major hurricanes with a total of 6 disturbances which was nuts to even see. So the question is could September bring hyperactive tropical weather activity to the Atlantic, Caribbean, or the gulf of Mexico?

  6. The MJO forecast looks favorable into Sept but the velocity ? Looks like after Sept 8 or .. the Atlantic will shut down until at least Oct ? So it looks like we have until Sept 8th . Then the season is over ?

  19. Clickbait or not, the thumbnail was just the preview of what's to come as the most dangerous part of hurricane season starting to rear its ugly head. Your presentation in the recent Atlantic hurricane videos is on point and you laid out all the facts without the unnecessary hype.
