  1. You asked at the end how I would rush down an enemy, to kill them really quickly. I would land 3 TIE Striker groups, 2 TIE Lancet groups, 1 scout group, and all the rest of the pop cap would be hovertanks (particularly the older ones). Send in the TIE Strikers to scout and kill troublesome units (rocketeers) and new AA buildings, then send in the Lancers to murderize the buildings and larger groups of infantry. I'd try to proc rocketeers to launching at the Strikers, have them run ASAP, and then push the Lancers in to kill everyone there. First priority is any new AA turrets, then enemy air units with the Strikers, then the spawner buildings, then rocket troops. Meanwhile, I just send my hovertanks in a group to meet up with the TIEs. Since the TIEs are interfering with the enemy, all the tanks should have no problem blazing through enemy lines. The scouts are there mainly for the hoverbikes to capture anything important. The tanks can destroy any light armor and also kill infantry, while the Strikers kill hardened enemies, air units, and grouped infantry. On a small map, I'd leave out one unit of Strikers and tanks and replace them with two artillery units, then move the artillery so they cover almost the entire map.

So almost what you did. The problem you had was poor micro and not responding to threats like the Z-95. Your Strikers could have easily killed it if you focused it down. Moving Lancets to areas where they can fire but not easily be fired upon is also important. Moving to dodge threatening enemies is also good.

  2. Hey Shack, while I agree that air and those APCs are good for lightning fast attacks as the Empire, I would also like to add the TX-130s and the 2-M tanks as good options as well, especially when combined with the former two and a small amount of infantry.

  3. Episode count of Shack forgetting to save Vader: 1

Greetings, This is Imperial Galactic News:

Concord Dawn. Has come under an attack from Black Sun criminals that have pushed their lawless ways on to the imperial citizens on the surface. However the planet can expect swift order to be returned shortly as the Orbit of the world has been secured by an Imperial SSD, which is now now giving careful targeted bombardments on the enemy forces. Civilian collateral is expected to be minimal.

Coming up next, a segment on Space Bugs,, The danger they pose to your ships sensors, and the Empire appoited hand flame-thrower that should see the pests swiftly dealt with. All damaging Fires will be the fault of the user

  5. For the Tabletop game, I think a combination of the base-building rules in Desparate Allies and the ship crafting rules in Fully Operational would handle the Fighter R&D Facility.

An NPC or two as "research heads" could let the player use the crafting rules even when they're out adventuring. And could open up a few side quests to recruit more skilled NPCs

  6. Fury is the name of a movie about WWII tankers, specifically one of the most famous American tank crews, Lafayette Pool, also known as War Daddy. I prefer the real tank's name though, "In The Mood"

  7. I know the Secutor was cannon imperial, but it would be neat if it was being decommissioned and the Rebel get a mission to steal it. Afterwards, because it was stripped down the Rebels then get to "build" one. That would be interesting.
