Imperial Beach: Death on the Beach 12192024

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 12-19-24 7:30 am approx.
LOCATION: Beach south of Seacoast Dr.
AREA/CITY: Imperial Beach
DETAILS:

An Imperial Beach Lifeguard was on patrol on the beach south of Seacoast Dr. Approx 3/4 of a mile down the beach, he discovered the body of a dead Hispanic male in the surfline. The male was wearing a wetsuit. Sheriff Deputies were called in, and it is presumed to be an illegal immigrant.

A surfer told us that he witnessed a jet ski coming from that direction and heading north at approximately 6:30 a.m. As the Jet Ski passed by, he saw two people onboard. The driver went towards shore, dropped his female passenger off in the ocean, and the surfer watched the passenger swim onto the beach.

Border Patrol Agents told us that there have been a lot of Jet Ski incidents all week. The SD County Medical Examiner has picked up the deceased and will determine the cause of death and try to identify the male.

  1. Please… it had nothing to do with dirty water. That is so overhyped it's a joke. Unless it just rained you won't even get sick. And by the way it's not bacteria that makes you sick it's all the chemicals that wash out after rain. The water is cold and there is a moderate swell running. If you are not accustomed to swimming in the ocean in water too deep to touch bottom, you are probably going to drown if that is your first ever experience doing a half mile swim in head high waves and 55 degree water in a (no doubt) crappy heavy leaky wetsuit.

  2. San Diego has become the "Rainbow Warrior" bastion of southern California. The most DISGUSTING place in the nation, as far as I'm concerned. If your NOT gay, keep yourselves AND YOUR FAMILY safe, and NEVER MOVE TO SAN DIEGO…

  3. I'm surprised the entire county hasn't fallen to the "GAY WOKE" trend yet. But unfortunately, I think they're almost there. GOD I miss the William Kolender days!!

  4. I consider myself a pretty good swimmer and have cone close to drowning by those nasty ripcurrents. It's no joke! UCSD recently released the bacteria levels in Imperial Beach and found it is some of the most polluted water in the U.S

  5. Change the name to Imperial Cesspool. EPA doesn’t do anything since it’s an international matter. Imagine all the regulations we put up with while Mexico says FU and dumps its trash anywhere.

  6. How sad😢I sure hope they can identify him so that the family could be notify. There are so many people that try to cross illegally and end up dead and their families never knew what happened to them. May he rest in peace😢😢
