  1. That autoresolve talk around the 30 minute mark explains so much of my recent campaign experiences trying to play casually trying to fight battles manually getting crapped on trying to turn around pyrrhic victories or valiant defeats was extremely frustrating and figured I was just shit and banging my head against the wall.

  2. Not sure what world the person who said games aren't expensive to make is living in. Big games are stupid expensive. Just think of the number of FTEs required for years at a time.
Fair to call out overpriced DLC though.

  3. These kids saying they wanna just auto resolve or play easy and paint the map are cringe and I agree the game needs more play battle incentive . Also the game needs a better middle ground in difficulty , either it’s brain dead Ez on most game modes or on legend mode you are min maxing to the moon to do well , very hard feels okay but still feels like you’re either mopping people or hardcore min max cheesing a situation to win

  4. The discussion about auto resolve reminded me of when I first played Medieval Total War. My potato at the time wasn't up to the task, or my install was borked so the battle map was made up of white units fighting amongst white trees. Nothing was particularly visible when fighting battles manually. Later, I would buy Rome Total War and fall completely in love with the battles I'd never experienced before. Medieval 2 showed me what I'd been missing the first game around as well.

Basically, I never want to go back to a game where the battles just aren't worth playing. Filthy Normal/Normal casual that I am, I really enjoy Warhammer 2's battles, and I'm looking forward to Warhammer 3 becoming something I can get excited for some time after the beta finishes up. Thanks a bunch for showcasing the game with such detail and passion Legend.

  5. So I have a multiplayer game going on with a friend and it’s on easy/easy so we can have fun playing and then fight each other…I have had a couple battles that gave me a defeat and I beat the battle…maybe it’s hard to do but it’s definitely not impossible…speaking from experience
