I'm worried about Moana 2 #moana2 #disney #opinion

see here’s my thing
Strange World was a 1 out of 10
Wish was a 1 out of 10
on one hand THIS LITERALLY CANNOT BE WORSE PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY JUST MAKE SOMETHING HALFWAY WATCHABLE DISNEY
but on the other hand I said Wish couldn’t be as bad as Strange World and yeah here we are
my expectations could not be lower

  1. The idea in the trailer is very good actually.

In the first movie, you get the backstory of the tribe about how they were actually people who sailed through the oceans and inhabited multiple islands but were ultimately stuck on one because of tefiti. Moana brings them back to their old profession so that they can now have more land. The idea that they can reunite with the other tribe members gives you the feeling that "they were stuck on an island suddenly and some of their remnants may still be living on some other previously conquered islands. They weren't given time to prepare and gather together." And that's very cool.

(Is it just me or did Moana call Maui "Moi" their voices are weirding me out and the 😏 expression she does the whole trailer again and again😭)

  2. Maybe, in the nicest way possible, the story is kinda basic and they don’t wanna show to much and have people start guessing what it’s gonna be about.

That, or it’s just a straight up rehash of the first movies plot, which I could see them doing, intentionally or not.

Moana is called to leave home

She leaves cause she needs to save insert person, place, or thing.

Goes on wacky adventure facing terrible foes.

    Go home in victory.

    Roll credits.

  3. I'm a bit worried that the new movie might just feel like a rehash of the last one, but I'm looking forward to the soundtrack. Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, who wrote the Bridgerton musical, are working on it, and it sounds beautiful. I just want a good Disney soundtracks again🙏
