I'm just gonna say, this update was actually frustrating and misleading since I thought there were sound updates to the modular engines and such but when I tested the modular engines, they're still suck with mower sounds even if they have 4 – 8 cylinders or whatever you have that is more than one cylinder.
We need track suspension
the "large" track is an absolute pain to work with because the track would always stick out half a block on either side
the new track has the exact same collision box and everything, but the track fits between two blocks which is better than having to make a 4 block gap to avoid the track clipping into blocks
i do think that we need a 2-wide 3×3 wheel, though
the 3×3 small tank wheel is what I know many wanted, but they decided to thin the medium tracks instead which I never heard much fuss about being too wide in the first place.
We need 3x3x2 tank wheels, nothing else; or if they can't really do it, give us the ability to change the radius of the tank wheels like normal wheels
I thought it was a sound related update…. sad… been excited cause engines wont sound like lawn mowers… but…. oh well…

if i were deltars, i would make everything customizible, so you have everything from 1×1 to 9×9 tracks. and you could vary their width so its either a 1x1x1 or a 1x1x9 or 9x9x9 and so on. this would make everything so much better and i dont understand why they didnt do this in the first place

We really need the 2 wide small tracks… This is just not really what people asked for, they even half-assed it, the treads on the "new" medium tracks don't fit the wheels as nicely as the original ones.
They misunderstood us asking for a 2 wide (Small wheel) because most modern mbt builders want to use the small wheels for a nice scale but have the issue with how thin they look on a modern mbt

1:28 when i was in the plane exploring the natural "disasters" update that happened to me where i was just frozen above the runway whilst everyone else were over at the volcano.
Also fun fact I learned today, the server doesn't keep track of health the client does.
Is the friction on the 1-wide tread fixed? Last I remember, they had obnoxiously high rolling resistance compared to the other two track sizes. If the 1-wide friction remains excessive, there's still not much of a good way to put tracks on an M113, MT-LB or pretty much any 1930's light tank. Note: The light tank you were critiquing for having narrow tracks? It's an A13, that's about how wide they really were. Pre-ww2 tanks rarely had wide tracks, let alone light bois.
Also, lol why are the new wheels so wide in diameter? 5×5 is huge, pretty much no MBT is gonna have road wheels that size!
I'm always amazed by that phrasing. How do you IMPROVE and issue/problem/bug? XD Do you make it even worse? More intense? Literally unplayable? 😀 We improved your stacking in place! Now even a crane won't move you!
What they could've done is making tracks be able to manually tethered between the wheels. Like some sort of rope tethering or smth. I don't think it's gonna be much of a job. It is already auto tethering it. So it should be possible to make it manual instead.
