Dragon Quest Monsters was simply my favorite set of games as a kid. So ahead of its time in comparison to Pokemon.

As I've said before, the inability to actually play as the monsters ruins it for me. What could have been an ASAP buy for me is gonna end up being a wait-for-sale buy at best.
Kind curiously how combat will work on the game can we customized the AI in our party or we don't get any options to do that. Also looking for the japanise showcase the battle probably little bit chaotic with so many monster and effect on it looks fun to me play.
I'm kinda hyped even with low to zero nostalgia or attachment to the series, I only played the Ps 2 King's curse 'n never was able to beat, but I want to give the series more shots in the future when I have the hardware to do so, either console or a new pc

Hmm I do feel bad for not playing enough Dragon Quest monster Tactic on my phone. I don't use my phone for games that much anyway. Fun game like any Dragon Quest games with its cute humor and fun monsters. It's a gacha game but not to bad since you can rank up your weaker monster and make them stronger.
I just preordered a digital copy on eshop mainly cause, that day, Iām traveling to my brother and wonāt get the game in time before the weekend, DQM or dragon warrior monsters which is what the games were called when they came over to the US in the early 90s when my favorite games in middle school and high school, i hope this bring the more the series over west
You can pretty much count on DQ spin offs to be great. Rocket Slime, Monsters, Builders, its honestly amazing, whoever does that series' quality control is doing a fantastic job. Super excited for this and I didnt realize it was arriving so soon!

I'm super excited for this! My only concern is the small roster of monsters we've seen so far. Some of them are palette swaps and that's a little concerning. We've only seen early game footage though.

While I don't like real combat, if I ever decided to create my own game, I guess I have to go that way. Turn based games are my type of games but you can see how much games are more going for the at the same time fighting rather than turn based standing at one place. Dragon Quest is something I would always go for anyway, simply because JRPG's are my thing, and the fact that it inspired a ton of other things that I am very used to like Final Fantasy or the Mana series.
By the way guys, don't you think it's time that the Golden Sun or the Lufia series get some more love? What happened to those games man..

This looks amazing Monster-taming needed gameplay like this ASAP action combat but with monster tamer elements like giving commands and using in the outworld. We are eating!

I'm super hype for this! It's brings alot of things I like from different franchises together. Real time combat like the witcher, companions like dragons dogma, and monster taming like PokƩmon. Played other dragon quest games and they are all super good!

As long as this doesn't have the embarrasingly awful soundtrack DQ11 had. Or even close to it.
