Bodycam footage shows an eight-year-old Ohio boy being arrested after he and another suspect were attempting to steal a white Kia. Officers ran on foot to chase the suspect and found him standing in front of a house with adults present. The boy claims a young teen made him drive the car by saying to officers, “he made me do it, he made me drive it.” Police ended up not filing charges on the 8-year-old and charged the young teen in connection with the theft.

8 years old the parents should be fully responsible, raise your kids. You don't even have to get it right, just raise them ffs.
They should not be arrested in 8 year old. That little boy doesn't know right from wrong yet. And he doesn't know the law. Next they're going to probably arrest 2 year olds.
It doesn’t matter if this kid was influenced by a teen or not & I will explain why but he will more than likely be in jail by the time he is 18 & prison after 18. The reason I say this is because IF he was influenced by the teen, he is easily influenced & will go on to be part of something more, a gang, etc & get into trouble. If he did it on his own, well, let’s just say starting out with crime at that age, it usually only gets worse. Kids that don’t get phased by the cops & he clearly was not phased only asking how long he would be in jail, they will return to crimes that do not seem to get them in much trouble. Then that leads to bigger crimes. I’ve seen it first hand by being a corrections officer for many years. Years ago, I saw a young man in trouble over something minute & told my friend that he was going to wind up in jail & sure enough, he did. Over & over until he landed himself jail until he hit a big charge & went to prison for many years.
Gotta love modern parenting…
