Totally unclear on the AC as it seems to be opposite when I am using it for freezer room. Very much enjoy the playthrough and glad you were able to spend a little time in the new update. Having a pet dog is really fun part of it. Keep up the great content as time permits.
I'M BACK! – Couple things to add to this video learned after recording:
1) It seems the AC units were placed correctly anyways, as I had stable temperature in that direction, and now it's impossible to maintain stable. There's also another comment already (which has shared a photo on Discord) that they use the original orientation for their freezer… so it's definitely the way it looks more than anything I think. I'm changing them back to how they were.
2) I've not really realized the drop in happiness from "indifferent" trait, because it's not listed anywhere INSIDE the game that this occurs, without cooking being the active task. That said, it's a 2 hour debuff, and I need multiple people on this job, so until somebody else gets better at it, you stuck with it Hann. A 2 hour debuff to happiness isn't a big deal to me. Its less time than being annoyed by a fellow survivor anyways.
3) I thought the "Flare Shield" would be something I'd need to build, much like the lightning rod, but there's no new item anywhere. I assume then that this is just some enhancement to my existing equipment, in which case, that's way too easy to get. You might as well just not have solar flares in the game at that point. 🙂

I think the red squares when you select the guns tell you the area they can't hit.
Why don't you try to wall that buggy gap?
It would be nice if we had a version of games like ark survival evolved or conan exiles in the style of stranded alien dawn. Guiding units with their pets and mounts through the classic maps like the island and the exiled lands would be awesome.
I'm more of a fan of the series set up. It's almost like watching a really good TV show (with a common narrator). I don't have time to play a lot of the games myself, but watching whole playthroughs allows me to enjoy the game for longer durations. But maybe that's just me.

You went and flipped all of them in this video just to say that whoever commented that they where placed wrong, was right…
if this games enemies path the same way Rimworlds enemies does. Then Build a area in your base that is defensible. then leave a open door to access it. which should help draw them into a specific location.
Charlie I don't know if having the air conditioning the right way would be bad.. they're supposed to regulate the temp and keep it around the temp you selected :p the AC was still running even though the temp was different because it's facing outside, so it's going by the outside temp, not inside :p I'm thinking.. you could count this as a test playthrough, start a new map with the knowledge and go from there 😀 1 shot games? ACK!!! don't do it charlie!!!!
