  1. It was good to see you and that you got something that you like. 👍 Now, do a song about your F-ing Itchy Dog!👌 You and your wife can do it together because that would be cool. 💁‍♂

  2. Quick q as I missed this altogether, are you able to capture your joysticks on the sequencer, the movement?

Great synth and brilliant they put one aside for you, must be exhilarating to know that when your heart was broken when they went out of business, only to come back even better and present this to you.

  3. He’s back! The giant Gong in my man cave just went off and Alexa started w the Aquarius Song by the 5 dimension as it turned on my TV and switched to YT. If only I could get Alexa to start my popcorn maker.

  4. "Two most expensive dogs"… aww, you're cute. Labor Day weekend, I gave my Havanese a sweet potato treat he's loved for years, and he somehow got a chunk caught in his throat… after it rehydrated he was better but still breathing poorly and freaking out some, so we took him to the emergency vet for our area and paid $675 to find he scratched his trachea. Then a week later he was not able to breathe well, took him to our regular vet and paid $400 for the visit, scans of his lungs, and antibiotics to take care of possible kennel cough. He's still barely able to breathe through his snout. And he's 8 years old! When he was 4 he tore his left rear "knee" and $2000 was pulled from my wallet… and as the vet had almost bet me, ONE YEAR LATER to the week he tore the opposite knee out (running down stairs). $2600 because, well, COVID made everything more expensive… and I hate to say it but I'd pay it again and again because he's our lil' buddy. My Hydrasynth will just have to wait. 😀

  5. I can see why you like this. It never occurred to me, but you can clearly use both hands with two joysticks per hand without any real strain. That puts at least eight modulation things under your fingers immediately, in a fairly approachable way. NICE. In particular bend/modw and filter seem really approachable.

  6. Not the most expensive. We rescued a French bulldog that had epilepsy that was supposed to be managed through medication. It was not. In the end over a 2 year period we spent $50,000 in ER visits. Every seizure resulted in a 3 day stay in an oxygen crate.

  7. I ran into Cameron at KnobCon last weekend. Even before I saw his face, I KNEW it was him, for the exact reason you might imagine. If you're wondering, he is exactly as chill and down to earth as he appears to be on the YouTubes. A pleasure talking to you Cameron. Keep up the good work.

  8. Lots of knob twiddling and menu diving. Very deep but not friendly in terms of programming compared to something like a Prophet 12 which is way faster and way easier in terms of making sounds. (One knob per function) Remember too there are plenty of other synths out there that can make sounds that this cannot do either.

  9. Brandon, as far as I'm concerned, you could just do rant videos, videos about your Iridium, videos on how-to, etc, and I'd be perfectly happy. Honestly – just because you've done a video or two on the Iridium, don't feel you have to avoid it. Most of the content/use cases for that synth, for whatever reason, just aren't that interesting, and you are poised in a sort of unique way to spotlight aspects of the Iridium that others haven't/won't. That's the synth I want currently, and will likely be buying in the next month. I'm trying to break myself from buying "FOTM" synths, in favor of holding out for something more "substantial" like the Iridium or a Peak or something like that. Another thing that we can always use: Videos showing us how to get a synth like the Sh-4d, Iridium, etc, working with a DAW. It may seem obvious to you, but I had an awful time getting the SH-4d working with Ableton. A lot of us find channels like yours because we're looking for a SOLUTION, but end up staying because we dig the curmudgeon vibe, or whatever it is that makes Bo Bo, Cuckoo Cuckoo, Jeremy (RMR) Jeremy, etc. (Oh… and you DO want a Subsequent 37. Mine is a never-sell. Watch one of those Cercle Story videos and note all the producers using the S37, (original) Minilogue, P6, etc. That synth is on fire at the moment.).
