  3. I've got to say doc I really appreciate the choice of image. Very fitting 👍 it has all of the expectations of a busy route for foot traffic but the true conflict of the void that's such a cornerstone of the liminal spaces.
You find yourself expecting to see a person or three walking through but it stays devoid of any activity…..then the colour changes lol 🥴

  4. I was honestly hoping for one gigantic story but since it's Dr. Creepen I'll accept the multiple smaller stories. I personally prefer the one story that's multiple hours long, and honestly I wish that's what we had received. Beggars can't be choosers but I'm just throwing my 2¢ in da hat for fellow fans TBH, thanks a Million to The Good Doctor

  5. Oh, thank goodness, I've been watching the clock waiting for tonight's update like a kid eyeing the minute hand that will eventually signal that they can escape the torture that is called school 🏫.
It's possible I'm addicted to your stories, running through a continuous playlist of your older works for approximately the last 20 hours……🤔.
Great to hear from you again, this story almost blew my mind 🤯.

    We call those.. spaces..
    The In-between..
    But, suppose..
Every few years the titles change.. but, the space is the same..
Always waiting for the fools that come..
    They ALWAYS come!
Got me twisted, Dearest Doctor ‼️✌️🌹

  8. I love the short story collections. Much easier for me to jump in and out when I only have a bit to listen. Or when I fall asleep I can remember the last story I heard before nodding off. Always glad to get a new read from the Dr!

  9. Wow, those are some seriously disturbing stories!

However, what really brings it on home, is the presenter's interpretation and performance; he grabbed the hooks on the story, and dragged himself in! Awesome!

I listen to a great deal of audio book horror, and I will declare that this reading is right up there with the best!

I also have a large collection of horror fiction in the form of printed books, but I guess that is just an embarrassment these days.

  10. I used to do a weekly maintenance walk through of a abandoned 150,000 sqft building in a chemical plant. Most of the lights were off, just enough to navigate the hallways, all the office’s were dark. The worst part was the basement where I had to check these 50 foot long skinny pipe chase areas, one way in and out. The old wallpaper and thin carpet was like a scene from the backrooms. I hated that place and 😂

  11. The theory behind liminal spaces is that mammals have an autonomic fear response to slight changes to familiar environments, to induce adrenaline and help them survive when there is real danger. The animal is used to hearing birds singing, and the unnatural absence of the sound makes them wary of predators lurking around. That's why cats always freak out after they come home and find that you've switched the furniture around.
