ABOUT ZOMBIE CURE LAB
Brain munching zombies rule the world. After years of research brave scientists have finally found an antidote that reverses the zombification progress, creating zombie-human hybrids. Find the final cure for humanity and build the perfect zombie curing facility.

Healing zombies is the goal, but first you need to catch these zombies with your fancy freezing guns. Escort your well preserved ice block zombies to the treatment chamber. Here the zombie-human hybrids – the ’humbies’ – will emerge as your new friends willing to help you out. But beware, if a humbie is in a bad mood they might be erratic or even start rampaging through your lab. Keep them happy at all times, cure more to increase your workforce and UNZOMBIE the world.

  1. Combination of things: if you combine my blind responses to conditions, add in balance changes that completely change the rules, and then sprinkle in bits of time between sittings with the game, you can ultimately get failure. — that said, I do think the changes are the root cause of it, and it’s aligned with my trip overseas this time.

I’ll keep an eye on the game, and let it figure out what it wants to ultimately become. If it goes more tower defense than it already is, I likely won’t revisit it

  2. They lost me as a potential customer with the big zombie health increase patch. If it's all about building defences and not moving the plot forward then I will not be a customer in the future either. I understand your position about building a base under one paradigm then having it shift away from that. I'm not a tower defence gamer either. If the next patch reduced zombie strength by a factor of 10 it may be worth looking at but right now I probably wouldn't watch any more content (unless we knew it was charming and plot based again).
    Happy New Year.

  3. I understood from. Your convo with the devs in your prologue episode that the size of your base also determines the zombie wave strength. Maybe you just built way too big initially making it harder to keep up with your defences. But then also agree with you that it seems to be more focused on defending a base rather than a final outcome to the story. Maybe reducing your base size since you have exhausted your resources within your base.

  4. The thing that got me about this was the AOE towers didn't seem to do anything. Even when you first built them before the health increase, they never seemed to be effective. If a zombie has 54000 health, what is a AOE that does 28 damage every 2 seconds going to do? It seemed the only thing you can do is spam the snowball shooters and make a long corridor that you hope they run down, or make a very small defensive area around your main base that you run and hid in every night and hope they don't attack your buildings.
