One might think that in Florida, itβs never cold enough for anything to freeze. But this iguana proves thatβs not the case. The reptile was spotted in the Miami-area lying on the street in a frozen state. According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation, green iguanas donβt adjust well to cold weather since they are an invasive species with origins in warmer climates. So when the temperature drops, they lose muscle control and often fall out of trees.

Wow
Kill ittttt
We already had three days below freezing this year. Probably a couple more days around the end ofi Jan or early Feb.
Dope news
The iguanas might not be dead nessisarily. They thaw out they'll come back to life. Depends on how cold they got and how long.
We saw a Iguana at the EverGlades on a tree frozen last week
If this is Florida, then some a-hole probably already ran over the iguana. Lotta savages
Iguana -sicles. Just be careful when trying to eat one π¦π¦π¦π
If someone takes them inside to warm up they deserve everything coming!! π
Good time to eliminate the invasive species. Iguanas and humans.
That's sad! π
The easiest time to kill them all
There was this one time where I was in my room and all of a sudden my dad came in with an iguana that he said was also frozen so after that we took a jacket from my room and put him in there and after a few days when it was warm enough we let him free and he went inside of a hole πππ

Oh no save the iguanas
Well warm them up in a pot and make some stew. Timmy boy and I well eat them up.
I saw dozens all never came back
Poor little guy
Get an ax and chop there heads off and then put them in your compost pile..
Time for all residents to dust off those baseball bats
this was the same exact news last year jan 2021 and 2022….tsk tsk tsk
It would be nice if the same thing happened to there python population
I hope someone moved to a safe place.
DO NOT BRING IGUANAS INSIDE TO AID THEM TO WARM UP. IT'S DANGEROUS TO DO SO. COLD BLOODED ANIMALS NEED HOT CLIMATES.
It's a good chance to kill them.
And theyβre also invasive so why would you want to save a invasive species?
This happens all the time
I put on gloves and moved the iguana off the road when I saw it.
