This just happened to me on my 98’ civic and I did it a different way but since I don’t have the tool anymore had to do it differently. You saved me so much time!
My friends 99 toyota camry is giving me fit right now with this problem ! But the boot will spin around , I've lube it , but they won't budget, just keep breaking until I can't reach any part of them !
Thanks! I followed your video, with the addition of spraying a tiny bit of wd40 in the boots. Now I'm leaving the new boots off overnight for the WD40 to mostly evaporate. It's still a better outcome than fishing the boots out in pieces.
I got some drywall screws and put around electrical wire. I screw both screws in and used the wire to pull up, then my needle nose pliers to pull some that still got halfway there. Try this method too
Hey great video man, i just pulled out one of mine and came apart. Could i just put it back together or do i have to replace them?
, Great idea, I'll let you know how it goes! 🎉
Omg!!! You just saved me a good hour of work!!! Thank you so much for this tip!!! Worked perfect!!! 😭😭😭👏👏👏
I used a scalpel to cut one side and then a screwdriver to dislodge it. Then, I used a vacuum cleaner to get any debris that might have stayed behind.
You are a Legend!!!
