I am a youtube only viewer (cause twitch is a hassle) and I stan Heather.
I appreciate the effort to make the content more fitting for youtube. Streams are fine, but as someone who is just incapable of sticking to a schedule or remembering when things are happening I am far more likely to watch the vods than catch a stream.
Why not add a little advertisement in the middle for your merchandise Because I like to know what's available with pictures.

As someone who has no interest in twitch i very much appreciate the work every one does to make the youtube videos as good as they are – thank you Heather. For those who occasionally miss videos or posts because algorithms, i would suggest using yourtube rss feeds and a rss feed reader i never miss any videos. The LRR web site also has its own rss feed for which i am very greatful for.
Good show as always! Also sad to have missed Graham in Barcelona 😕 I hope you will come back to Europe next year! I think I'll watch/listen to Road Quest again as a treat.
I clapped my hands when Serge said Shuswap because I grew up in Salmon Arm and my family has a summer cabin my grandfather had built in 1960 in Tappen on land that is a 99 year lease from CPRail. where the freight trains run just across a 1 lane dirt road from you.
It's the most wonderful and relaxing place I've ever been and I don't get there hardly as much as I would like to now that I have adult responsibilities and live in Kelowna.
There is a pizza place here that makes a Shepherds pizza (Which should technically be called a Cottage Pizza because its Beef and not Lamb but I'm getting pedantic) but its really the most interesting pizza I've ever had that I would never have thought which has all the ingredients to a Cottage Pie on it, Ground beef, Peas, Carrots, Corn, Potatoes…
Its Super sexy despite the initial wierdness you get when you look at it for the first time.
All AskLRR lineups are good however this particular trio was absolutely fantastic together.

I'm gonna be honest, I didn't know you guys still did checkpoint till I had this playing in the background.
The pizza topping I bring to a group is always fresh basil, roughly chopped, added shortly after it comes out of the oven (or upon delivery, as possible). It's my favorite herb and it's so, so good.
Youtube-only fan here. For my end of things, the reason I don't watch the livestreams (not only for LRR, but in general) is mainly because the timing never works for me. Either the streams start when I have other things going on or I just can't devote multiple hours of attention to one thing

My grandparents had a painting in their basement. The basement we grandkids spent a LOT of time hanging out in. It was an island completely covered in people. Striking colors, really pretty to look at.
We spent a LOT of time looking at it.
The people were all 100% nude.
It wasn't detailed enough that it was extremely obvious or anything, but what was more racy were some of the…activities they were involved in.
Now, at the time, we didn't realize what we were looking at, but once we grew up we ABSOLUTELY KNEW.
(it fit in quite well next to my grandmother's "romance novel" collection!)
I rarely, if ever, watch your stuff live on twitch. I dont generally like it. Chat is too frentic to try and follow, and also generally I'm at work.
I would love it if the discussion of those trips turn out to be previews of Road (train?) Quest 2.
I'm been following you since you did that ZP collab episode with Yathze many years ago. And I shifted from website, to youtube, to twitch and back to youtube only now. Mostly cause I usually don't have time to watch all the content I want imedialty so, ya I usually don't get informed on what you do updated regularly by my own fault. I still enjoy what you do and I thank Heather specially for the work she puts to get things in Youtube for me to enjoy.

My wife and I did the Canadian from Vancouver to Toronto a year ago. Unfortunately, it was right in the middle of the last "major" COVID wave, so even though you had to be vaccinated to even get on the train, they confined all the passengers to our rooms other than the delicious meals in the dining car, so we didn't get to enjoy the dome car and tail end lounge/dome car. It was still a blast, and I'd love to do it again when there's less of a situation about it, though maybe the other direction.
As I've been told many times by supervisors at large events, Communicate, Communicate, then Communicate Again.
Odds are, somebody hasn't heard about it and most people dont mind hearing the details again.
So I was an Escapist Viewer that then moved to Youtube viewer and then joined in for some MtG content years ago and would also join in on the specific shows of some of LRR back when everyone had their own show. And then I didn't have time to watch live anymore so I mostly just hang out watching specific LRR Youtube content (Crapshots, Live Magic stuff, occasional long form streams).
The thing I have to say about not watching live is that I can pause and play at my leisure on Youtube, but on Twitch I can't (not really though sometimes I crack into VODs and treat it like early Youtube videos XD). I'm glad though that you guys respect the different content consumers as you don't "have to" as a lot of streamers tend to smack their whole stream onto Youtube and call it a day. No edits at all. And I get the purpose for it, be it archiving VODs, or diversifying revenue, but it just feels…. lazy.
I have always respected your dedication to your craft and your fans and the desire to always improve.
Edit: Also, I'd love to see any LRR hit Nova Scotia….. walking around and possibly randomly run into any of the LRR Crew would just be crazy XD
