  1. I think it’s not safe in the us in such unstable times with a nation divided and polarised and having access to g*ns. ARMYs in the us and who will go to the us please never forget to stay cautious, over checking is always safer than underchecking

  2. your assessment of YG's "fake it till you make it" posturing is correct. bigbang was popular, but not as big as it was positioned. so far they have only sold under five million albums. TVXQ!, super junior, and shinee were bigger in terms of sales. 🙄 even g-dragon in his entire career a solo artist covering 15 years has sold less than 1.2-million albums. in comparison, each BTS member have sold more than one million albums for their solo albums in a two-year period. 🙄.

  3. I think I have finally understood what is the problem of many (not all!) ARMYs with blackpink. It’s exactly as you said, blackpink has an image of a luxurious and exclusive act throwing away money for funsies while ARMYs know the hardships of BTS and how BTS didn’t have enough money to eat properly, to sleep in proper rooms, to perform, were disrespected for being this “broke” in comparison to such blackpink-esque kpop acts, everyone was bragging about their status and success meanwhile BTS ate dust for some while. This.. is just basic empathy, not hatred but empathy and rage towards the industry. I can understand that and probably my biggest problem with bp is the same. I mostly don’t care about them nowadays, I tried to care but empty music with no creativity is just demotivating, and by a coincidence always after a creative era when I thought “oh so they can be good! I should wait for their other comeback to finally tune into them like a fan” they had some of their worst songs ever to exist in my taste. It did hurt me in the past but now a choice between female groups is a lot bigger than before and my heart and mind has chosen le sserafim, im satisfied with it so much that I was able to let bp go for good, im not concerned about them in a good way. Sorry to share even such a cringe thing but I had some rare dreams where I was a manager of an idol party event, everyone I knew of idols was there and in my dreams I was always respectful to bp and smiled at them sincerely, I felt grateful to every group present there so it’s not like I hate bp, my unconscious self respects them. It’s just when you see someone of a “higher than anyone” wannabe act being compared to “from zero to hero” class act you start feeling annoyed sometimes

  4. I think Hobi is worried not about filling the audience but facing a huge arena after such a long time. Pharrell talked about this, talking to RM. He has difficulty with the energy of a really huge audience. It's easy to forget that BTS grew up in the business having each other. They go on stage feeling supported. It makes it normal and comfortable for them. Do you remember when Jin kidnapped Hobi. It took him a a little bit to relax. There was a comment Hobi made about being much more guarded now. He's chosing his first venues like dipping his toe in the water. He is a natural.performer. so I think the venue sizes should have got progressively larger. That would be better.

  5. Personal opinion here but I see all that anti-tiktok propaganda as just a propaganda, the only thing to “blame” tiktok for is they admitted they can and have boosted some sponsored songs. BUT EVERYONE DOES IT. Youtube’s ad views even of music videos are counted towards the actual count even if they are skipped, skipping them is not enough to make your ad – forced in other words – view to count. I appreciate for tiktok to at least be HONEST with its public, they didn’t lie and admitted business is business sometimes. Meanwhile what ruins the music charts is irrelevant radio which – in antipode to tiktok – is counted towards most influential charts yet is just shoving sponsored music down the throats of general public. The problem they all have with tiktok is the same as they have with bts — they don’t make money for the us and the us monopoly of music industry and if they did no one would even care

  6. i remember when i first got into bts and kdrama i was obsessed with korean culture and wanted to live there. but now after knowing more and more i would not. the human rights are so bad and how they treat and downgrade each other is so horrible. i do like some part of it. like the respect you have for older people, if it wasn´t for the older people who is abusing it to get what they want.
also the bully culture is so bad in all asia actually. and all of them is obsessed with money and beauty it´s so superficial. and also when you watch 7 year old kdramas it is very much like older amarican romance movies. it made you belive in romance again.
but the more you get to know how the industry works it all about their obsession with the US and wanting to compete with them by copying most of the concepts they come up with and that is the same for kpop too.
but they are way behind on that. but us who live in the west and miss the old days really enjoying kpop becuse of that but if they truly want to compete neck to neck not decades behind. they need to think outside the box. but for many asians that is not a thing they are very good at. i would say japan is the best at it. china copy everything and everyone is doing it, you will se tons of yt videos all with the same concept. nothing new. same for korea. the trend in korea now is about Glamping "camping in luxus" while eating really good food. and also having a dog or cat with you. no video will have two people camping togehter or a surviving camping blogger dont exsist in korea. if you pay attention to the background you will see tents in the backgrounds of other creators doing the exact same thing. jumping the bandwagon is really high in korea and china in the west they value individuality more and want to be the first to create something unique and new. but that is not how people think in korea and china i feel. correct me if i am wrong but i feel most just want to be like everyone else. no one wants to stand out.

  7. There are 2 types of VIP packages. There's HOPE package which includes sound check and send off plus other items. ViP package just has sound check and no send off. I NEED the HOPE package 😭😭😭

  8. 1:10:16 BTS was never booked in the first place. They didn't cancel and there was nothing last minute, so also nothing to make up for. MBC just arrogantly assumed that BTS would perform, and was offended when BTS had better things to do.

  9. Super.

  10. It just is standard to expect tickets to sell out quickly in ARMY presale, and that will be on the 22nd at 3pm. Any general sales for the concert tickets, or the VIP tickets on the 23rd, are not going to happen, because it will sell out in ARMY pre-sale. AND very quickly. I wouldn't be surprised if tickets sell out in minutes.

  11. I totally understand the complaints about concert not being in certain countries, like my own we haven't seen any of them for 6 years (i've been a fan for 5 of those). Some countries have been waiting even longer. Granted i didn't complain because we're atleast getting a live stream and i haven't the money to travel to an actual show anyway (trying to save up for OT7 in the hope i manage to get a ticket then, it'll cost me a fortune just to travel the 700 miles to the closest place they normal perform at anyway.)

  12. You shouldn't feel competitive/bad against seoulite. He brings up facts but he does so in a very dramatic way. You two are on the opposite end of a spectrum. Boracity is closer even tho she also is different. She does analysis videos.

Gamerboy3 is a reactor that talks alot and isn't afraid to show his opinion. So it's kind of raw and kind of true

  13. I just got really turned off by the person commenting Americans expect everyone to bow down to them and we act like we own the place. America has 346 million citizens. A percentage of them are jerks, just like the country you live in. Jerks tend to draw attention to themselves and normal people blend in. Americans differ greatly from each other. Don’t stereotype.

  14. Greetings from the 🇵🇭! I'm hoping you or any of your listeners can help me. I'm a silver ARMY and have dreamed of being able to experience a BTS concert, at least once in my lifetime! Imagine my excitement on learning that J-Hope is coming to Manila! I already have my ARMY membership thru weverse. I tried opening a ticketmaster account, but on signing up, I have a problem verifying my phone number. I keep asking for a verification code via SMS, but no SMS gets sent. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Would appreciate any advice on what I should do. Borahae!💜

  15. If you buy your tickets from ticket master. Confirm your ticket number and seat right away. Because if not. They will sell it again. Then put you in the different seats number. Take a snapshot of your ticket and barcode.
