Ooooo a Forbidden Topic that Simon wouldn't do? What could it be? The benefits and strengths in success of some sort of inherently evil act.
It's a bit broad though that seems to be the general issue these days, but people are going to believe whatever the hell they want to believe. Some people are like 2 year olds. You could drag them outside, point to the sky and tell them its blue and they would still find flimsy excuses for why it's not. Difference is they go online and find a small group of like-minded morons to agree together it together. Simon is too reasonably mainstream for them.

I liked Elon for investing in good sectors we need. Then I realized he was a snake oil salesman who got lucky in hawking the work of actually talented people. Also that he's a flaming loon of a narcissist.

Looking at the current crop of billionaires they all seem to have been in the right place at the right time! Yes, they had an idea & went HARD with it but they also had a massive amount of luck these things clicked with their target, the amount of brilliant ideas that flop because not enough people click & think aha! Yes! I need that in my life.

Because Hollywood (and our good friend Simon) doesn't understand that the rest the world isn't them. Most people still find bravery something to be respected. (Ok, I was too hard on Simon there but the general sentiment fits, just not the bravery one.)
It's always funny when people criticize billionaires for getting a million dollars from their parents etc. So let's say they become a billionaire in 30 years. That's a 3,333% return per year. That's amazingly good business sense.
