Idaho murders: Suspect arrested in killings of 4 college students

Authorities are holding a news conference after they announced that a suspect is in custody in the Nov. 13 murders of four University of Idaho students, a high-ranking law enforcement source told Fox News Digital.

Bryan Christopher Kohberger, 28, was taken into custody by local police and the FBI at 3 a.m. in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area, the law enforcement source said Friday.

Kohberger was arrested in Monroe County, located in eastern Pennsylvania in the Pocono Mountains. The county seat, Stroudsburg, is about 100 miles north of Philadelphia.

He was being held for extradition in Monroe County Court for first-degree murder issued by the Moscow Police Department and the Latah County Prosecutorโ€™s Office in connection to the slayings of Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, and Madison Mogen, 21.

A Ph.D. student by the same name is listed in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Washington State University, which is a short drive across the state line from the University of Idaho. Messages seeking more information were left for officials at WSU.

Pullman, Washington is a 15-minute drive from the rental home where the four students were stabbed to death.

Police said Thursday the rental home would be cleared of โ€œpotential biohazards and other harmful substancesโ€ to collect evidence starting Friday morning. It was unclear how long the work would take, but a news release said the house would be returned to the property manager upon completion.

  1. The question "Were there any others suspects arrested?" and the Fact that all of the mainstream well known media/netflix "serial killers {dahmer, bundy, wournos, etc etc}" never worked alone but were the fall guys for their satanic {freemasons/O.T.O./Process} chapters means that could very well be a legit question. All the "serial killer/fall guys" were raised up in or were themselves in the military, militaries are run by satanists, each base has a coven and their bases are where MK Ultra programming takes place… so if this guy was in the military or if his parents were in it, matters. All satanists are obsessed with death, as sacrifices and cannibalism are a part of their religion. They're also the snuff film syndicate.

  2. Thank God. This is phenomenal news. Congratulations to the Moscow PD, Idaho State PD, and FBI. Excellent job; thus far.

And to those that disparaged law enforcement during this process, grow-up, learn from this = it takes time and even when 'some' in the public think they aren't doing a good job when in fact law enforcement was and is doing a phenomenal job.

If anyone helped him, I sincerely hope they are also hot on their trail as well.

  3. Well this sure does away with the myth that internet sleuths have any sort of credibility or serve any useful purpose. Even with the advantage of being monday morning detectives after the fact exactly zero people were able to detect any hint of any part of this outcome. Obviously given the perverse incentives of the internet there is no penalty for starting or amplifying rumors or flooding the zone with hyperbolic nonsense, but maybe there needs to be instead of regarding this sort of slander and character assassination as a legitimate career path.

  5. They need to use this human animal for experiments to benefit the rest of society we should not as a taxpayer pay for this person to live another day. The death penalty is not inhumane and cruel, what's in humane and cruel is how this victims died and their families that will never see them again experiment on this person and see why these people are so fucked up in the head
