This week the boys and myself head back to the northern parts in hopes to do a ice fishing grand slam. Spending two days on one of my favorite lakes in the Ottawa Valley chasing Burbut, Walleye, Pike, Perch and Whitefish. We fish during the day and the night hoping to knock off all these species on our two day trip. Shore lunches right in the tent with so many good times. With late nights and early rises people tend to nap but when you nap jokes will be played. Enjoy!

In the video you said "I didn't even know whitefish bit at night"
I live on Lake Simcoe, Whitefish are very plentiful and very actively feeding at night. You do catch them suspended but 98% of the time they will be feasting on the bottom.
They are more of the gorging type of fish, if you ever target them specifically, I recommend small baits, the same type of baits you'd use for perch fishing, that being said, they will eat bigger baits but they love to gorge on bugs, gobies, and small minnows.
