  2. The first EV was built in 1846 forty years before the petrol car, the consumer rejected them then when the only option was a horse and carriage and the consumer is still rejecting them today.

  3. Govs around the world say ‘we must transition to sustainable energy and green vehicles’ to save the planet yet they can provide one with charging tariffs at home for £0.15/Kw and ripp us off at £0.65/Kw at on street charging networks, majority of the population does not have driveways like myself to benefit from cheaper tariffs, Govs strategy is one to shoot itself in the foot, ofcourse the sales will be down the model is flawed and about profiteering. Good luck

  4. Why is UK government incentivising a shift to EVs by 2030? Is electricity produced in the UK entirely clean? What is the mix of coal, gas, nuclear & renewable in electrical bundle? If the bulk of the power comes from fuels having a large carbon footprint, then changeover to EV doesn’t make sense. Further, problems associated with disposal of humongous quantities of batteries and solar panels (Chinese) at the end of their life is yet to be solved. Kicking the can down the road is not a solution.
