  1. Being a lifelong Cubbie fan, purty much a Dodger fan these days because of the Wife, but still…Happer is my favourite Cubbie. He is the prototypical, consummate, bread n butter Big Leaguer. Not too extreme either way. Productive, can be clutch and always reliable. I just respect the Dude a ton. Always have.

  2. …and don’t forget the day game where Kerry Wood casually struck out 20 Astros. The thing I’ve learned since a kid seeing games in Wrigley is that outfield…you don’t play Wrigley, it plays you. That wind and sun yes…but that brick wall don’t give an inch.
