  1. I find it interesting how your tests with FPS has AMD CPUs beating the Intel CPUs, even with the lower end AMD CPUs bettering the high end intel CPUs when all other reviewers have it the other way around. Me thinks something is askew.

  2. A graphics card that runs Android emulator games only and DX 11, 12 and 9 games do not work until I installed it on another motherboard, the same problem and I updated the bios and nothing changed. I want to know what is the problem with the graphics card

  3. There is a vulnerability out there that hijacks the Intel undervolt. That might be why Intel has locked out undervolting on the new CPUs and also why many laptop manufacturers are locking undervolting at the BIOS level.

  4. A>$100 cheaper the i5-13400F 10 core (6/12+4E @65w) is slightly better bang4buck (AU$315) v's 13500 (6/12+8E @65w) $400. Match either with a 3060ti or 6700XT & you have a formidable rig (if paired with DDR4 not 5 and can find a budget MB). However the Ryzen 7 5700X is where I think the real B4B is @$300AU 8/16, no contest and lots of life left in the AM4 as AM5 has teething problems with memory controllers and DDR5 (well as much as the LGA1700 is not long for this world that is). Mined 3070's on eBay for $450 are an excellent matchup for 1440P gaming.

  6. after the 13600k was such a banger adn the 13400 being such a let down i went on the intel site and looked up some specs and i knew you would make a video about the 13500 because it just hit the sweetspot for literally everything.
Great video keep it up Yes man

  7. Yeh wish I knew this chip was coming and would have waited, ended up with the 12600kf last year and the 13500 is the same price this year, not only the 13500 is faster, but you have an igpu as well.

  8. thx for the review

I was wondering wich of both am5/13th gen is more stable and easyer to build for first time builders and for am5 should I try to find a memory kit with expo? or xmp kits will work without issuse

  9. I am sad that good desktops are now no longer of help to me. CPU PCIe lanes have gone from 40 to 28 to 20. I need 16 for GPU, 4x 2 lanes for 4 camera captures, and 16 for a multi track audio capture card. That's 40 lanes. My Workstation is now 10 years old and I am forced into EPYC and Thread Rippers. Prices are ridiculous.

  10. AMD in Zen4 should have resorted to the following scheme:
    Ryzen 3 – 6/12
    Ryzen 5 – 8/16
    Ryzen 7 – 12/24
    Ryzen 9 – 16/32
Having launched the core race in 2017, they lost it again. What a shame Lisa…

  11. Are you getting paid to say this the 5700X is UNDER $200 and it looks like its just as good than this intel CPU in games at least. It also saves you at least $50 when your on a budget thats a big difference. I would choose the 5700 over this.

  12. I would go for the 13500…because i already have a 5700G, haha, which i`v used and tested it for the past 1 year, and it has been a good buy in terms of resale value, and the performance is noticeably better, which so impressed me…..But i`v also been using a 12400, which i find hard to beat. Intels new CPU`s are excellent, to be keeping up with Zen 3……The problem with Zen 4 is that typically the Chip producers start with CPU`s that few can afford, the Zen 4 cpu`s are way out of most peoples budget, excluding the extra for motherboard and DDR5.

  13. Like you hinted at in the video, it's a multi-dimensional issue when you're factoring use-case, form-factor, price-to-performance, etc.

From my personal experience, I'm using a 5700X in an ASRock DeskMeet X300 (not the DeskMiniX300, which practically demands an iGPU to function). Even with undervolting, the setup thermally throttles in intense games due to the PSU's fan also functioning as an intake to the rest of the system, essentially pumping hot air into the CPU cooler (this happens regardless of the cooler you use, as it's the PSU's and case's design that leads to this). If you're running on a microATX or a larger ITX system, you likely will not encounter any thermal throttling at all by luxury of having a much larger cooler to work with, as well as a less constricted case design (if you choose your cases well). The 5700X could very likely run well on a flat-facing HTPC chassis, and even overclocked pulls about as much as 78W from the wall.

It's a really efficient CPU for gaming, and even with an average level of cooling, likely gets only as far up as the mid-80s Celsius when performing at its highest levels for hours on end. But when you need power in an extremely small package while working on an energy budget (due to PSU constraints), the 5700X will give you precisely that and more if you decide to upgrade your PSU and allow for some overclocking (it's essentially a hyper-efficient 5800X). If you can't compromise on thermals and noise, the 5600X is better.

That being said, if you do productivity tasks more and more often, the 13500F isn't a compromise so much as it is a necessity. Paying 60$ for a tool that could help you generate hundreds of dollars more is a no-brainer decision at that point.

  14. Up, so I don't know ** about overclocking, but my 13600k is stable at 5.7 All Core; 5.9 single core. THIS ACTUALLY MATTERS: going stock to this OC gives a near linear change in GPU utilization in Darktide (it goes from 85% utilization to 95%). No benchmarks look at this – OC where it matters. All the graphs show minimal increases with 13600k OC — but it depends on the game: RT = win. Doesn't go above 80 watts gaming. You can probably use an Intel box cooler!

    Spend the extra $50 imo!

  15. No my I7 4790 is way better than them all haha, notice how the speed stays the same, maybe some new features but sod that crap. Point is many parts old and even new can make a decent pc hence the name Personal Computer. As much as i want to invest in new stuff the old stuff rocks it and and great deals and todays climate keep your pennies and dont waste them on have to be products.

  16. In January i bought a new 5700X for an used X570 and also used 3070. It seems the best Value for 200€ for me. Coming from i7 2600. The cooler (Zalman CNPS 9900 Max) works fine on the Ryzen! I don't notice any CPU Problems while Gaming in FHD maxed out settings (gpu bound). For me, it was the right decission. This 13500 came out too late for a decission. The Intel 12 th CPUs under 200€ don't were attractive to me.
