I Worked at Disneyland for 5 Years and Here is My Story

I worked at the Disneyland Resort for a little over four and a half years. This is my story from the time I hired in to the time I left the company, on my own terms of course. Now, I was not fired nor was I forced to quit in case anyone was wondering. This story covers all the ups and downs that I had with this job ranging from learning my three attractions to the closure from the pandemic as well as when I became a lead/supervisor at my favorite attraction to work. It’s a long story as I condensed the past four and a half years into a two-hour video. This was just a general overview of my time here as if I were to get really detailed, the video would be much longer. This story just covers the “highlights” of my time here.
Now, just to answer a few questions here in the description. Yes, this video is just meant for listening to as all the footage is mainly somewhat related B-Roll footage. No, I don’t reveal any crazy secrets about the company as there is only so much an attractions cast member knows; plus, legally speaking, I cannot nor would I even have that type of information. Also, yeah, there was a reason I did those “surface level operations” videos on three specific attractions. Lastly, this story doesn’t have any “guest stories” or crazy things that happened as it’s a general overview of my time here. If this video does well enough and people want to see those, I will talk about those moments in different videos.

I want to make it clear that this story is from my own perspective, obviously, that all opinions expressed toward the company are mine and mine alone. They do not represent anything the company has toward their brand as I am no longer employed by them. While I do have some negative things to say about upper management as well as corporate greed, I just know that I don’t have any hard feelings toward the cast members themselves; well, most of them that is. This whole video is meant for entertainment purposes and anything mentioned in regards to the company should be taken with a grain of salt.

  1. Quick Note: This is not my normal type of video as I normally make skits, series and films. I wanted to try something new and talk about my time working at Disneyland. Yes, I did enjoy my job until the last few months of my time here. It had its ups and downs like every job but when it started to feel no longer fun to work at, I knew it was time to start leaving. I have no hard feelings toward the company but I am very critical of them. Just know I didn't leave this job because I hated it but because it was no longer fun to be at for reasons I state in this video. It's a long video as it's a long story. I hope the timestamps help for those returning to this video if you decide to watch the entire thing over a few days or so.
Also yes, this video is narration over somewhat related B-Roll footage. Obviously, I couldn't film my job but I do have three videos of the attractions I worked on that I do mention in this one. Lastly, the Cooper Movie I mentioned at the beginning of the video is going to be re-released at the end of the month for its 5th anniversary that fixes the audio issues in the third act as well as some minor changes to the final edit. If you haven't seen it, it yet and/or want to watch it, I'd maybe hold off until then. The description and card in regards to the film will be updated once it is released to the public and this part of the comment will be removed.
