I Watched The TERRIBLE Attack On Titan Live Action Movies So You Don’t Have To

Did you know that the very popular Manga/Anime series, Attack on Titan had their very own live action adaptation movies? And did you know that they, well, kinda suck? Today I decided to watch these live action movies so that you don’t have to waste your time watching the movies, and instead you can waste your time watching my review of it instead! God I wish a Titan would just gobble me up rn

This video took a lot of work and admittedly it’s been pretty tough trying to consistently upload content while trying to maintain other things in my life. If anyone would like to help me out in any way, please check out my Ko-fi account linked above! Any donation will help, and of course, they will all be going towards improving my channel. Thank you!

  1. Hey y’all! I hope you enjoyed this video 🙂 it took me a frustrating amount of time and revisions to finally have this video uploaded without any issues so I would appreciate if you left a like on the video!

I mentioned this in the video too, but I made a Ko-fi account for anyone who’d like to donate and support me. I’ve been running this channel and doing everything on my own and although I am enjoying it, it’s also starting to make it harder for me to balance with other real life stuff that’s been also very important for me to deal with. With my current limits, it’s very tough for me to consistently upload high quality videos that aren’t rushed out of the door. Any and all donations will be used towards improving my channel, whether that’s by upgrading gear, or outsourcing some of the editing work, etc. With this support, I’d be able to make more content that you guys enjoy while also not driving myself absolutely insane.

Regardless, your support is always appreciated! Thanks as always yall 🙂

  2. My hot take: it's fine to create a character with a backstory and motive only for them to be killed off in a very near chapter. For a story and world to feel alive, I believe ALL characters should FEEL like they have backstories. But I think the main element is that if someone is going to die, it has to have a lasting effect in some way, be it in front of the eyes of their eyes (like what happened with Eren witnessing the life-ceasing of his mum) or their body is discovered later (as with Jean's case with Marco). As was mentioned in the review, pretty much none of the main cast address the kill count that's happening before their eyes, so it just really makes the stakes of the story(tm) seem really flippant and inconsequential, and makes the human characters seem, well, less human and more like talking stick figures.

  3. idk if this is a hot take but to me it doesn't make sense for the characters except Mikasa to be japanese😭like they should get the One Piece treatment and have a whole international cast if they do a live-action adaptation

  4. I can't believe I'm saying this, but in defense of the live-action AOT movies, the Colossal Titan is not CGI… Mostly. They used practical effects to create a physical animatronic puppet, along with CGI to for the steam and intense heat.

Aside from that, I only watched the first part and never bothered to check out part two.
