I knew suspected the boat captian within mintues of seeing him and it was confirmed when i saw him send that message. I knew they fail finding island bc of the Capt. Didnt think he was sent from front man to watch his brother…. makes sense bc he doesnt want him to die but also cant have him around.
I was hoping front man get sympathy for them due to pregnant lady but of course not.
I disagree with the notion that Season 2 is not as good at Season 1. I would say Season 2 is consistent with Season 1. The story, theme and tensions have remained consistent.
As for the predictability, well, there is this storytelling theory, which method brings more tension: 1) people sitting at a table and then a bomb goes off after 5 minutes or 2)tell the people at the table that the bomb will go off in 5 minutes. Knowing about the bomb builds tension. Just like knowing about the front man built tension. We did not know what he was going to do or when he was going to turn on them. In fact, for a split second we thought he was sympathize with the people in the game.
007 didn't abandon his mother. he was dragged away by force. He perhaps could've fought harder, but as his mother explained he could never fight back against bullies as a kid.
In the spinning game front threw the toy with right hand two time and got failed when he threw with left hand they won
Another silly little detail I noticed is in the second game when the first team is throwing the stone and pans down to the player's feet, his shoes are on the wrong feet 🤣
But it's extra sad seeing the Frontman shoot Jung-bae in front of Gi-hun after seeing in the last episode how close he was to telling Gi-hun about how the Frontman killed another in front of him in the previous game

I think they went last in the second game because if they fail and die, nobody would see the front man actually get shot and carried away

I don't think the front man is a bad guy that wanted 456 dead inside, he just wanted to understand him a bit more, then teach him his manners… Then the dead of his friend in the episode 7 was just necessary…
And the reason he grabbed 456's friend in the Mingle game was just a strategic reason, because they were the strongest members trying to help the other ones, they also did that in other rounds…
And also, I cannot tell how come did you not get that 007 didn't leave his mother behind, they literally kidnapped him 😀
I really don't think the front man was there to sabotage his game. I mean he definitely has some hidden agenda like turning him to the dark side or something, because ehe wouldn't give him so many chances and let him live so long even knowing he's committed to his plan of ending the game, even before he got into the car and said he wanted to go into the game. If his purpose was to sabotage him, he had so many chances. Him killing his friend, too while planned, I don't think it was out of spite or something because he still didn't reveal himself being in the game.
Also I think it's a bit of a stretch to say the captain was suspicious because he turned a knob, we don't know what that knob is, it could be adjusting the coordinate or something. I don't know why people dont' suspect it because I don't know the fact that he's so generous to him? He spent 2 year, I think weekly, to go on this trip to look for the islands. And apparently without asking any payment or anything in return. That was what made me think something was up with him. And I didn't even consider the part about him being the one who rescued him. They tried to explain it away, by having that scene where it seems like he was doing it because he is lonely and didn't mind the company. If he helped look for the island a few times, because he thought the story might be real and why else he was found randomly with a gun shot wound.
This is a battle between who will change first, Gi hun or the squid games
No you didn’t, watching season 2 of siquid game at 0.25x is very hard. It would take 28 hours to watch the entire season and since it only came out on the 26th. I doubt you had that much free time to watch it for 4-5 hours per day let alone get bored of watching it at 0.25x.
for me in the S1 it was revealed that the deceased families will receive the 100 mill won price not the players who voted to leave the game, but in s2 the players who leave the game will receive that sum money so bit of a plot hole or twist in the game
The mom and son have to live or the entire community will be devastated.
