Not sure if everyone noticed but during the Wushu dance cutscene if you look closely at Gaming's feet you'll see a greenish-blue aura that suggests that Xianyun was using her power to let him walk on water and boost his jumping ability.
Well, you’ve proved me wrong. I legit thought you’d missed it because the event ended on my end but I of course played it. Hopefully, you’ll get to Xianyun’s story quest because I really enjoyed it.

Personally, I really like this year’s Lantern Rite. Especially Gaming and his dad
Last time I flew a kite, over 30 years ago, I remember my dad helping me fly one when I was about 6 or 7. I think it was bird shape, I just remember it being red.
Overall I really enjoyed Lantern Rite. Any scene with Xiao is always going to be a highlight for me lol. Loved seeing Furina and Zhongli interact too. Now if we could just get Ei and Nahida in on the act. I definitely don't blame Zhongli for avoiding Neuvillette lol.
After I finish this Wanshu Inn event, I plan on taking up more Story quests and next one will be Cyno's so I hope there's dad's jokes in there lol.

In the cutscene Shenhe gets distracted when she sees a father and a daughter bonding, probably thinking about her own dad, before Ganyu (kind of a sister to her) brings her back to the present by offering to adjust her head piece.
It’s showing her thinking about the family she lost while also showing her connection to the family she has now.
