I Was Told I Was Not A Good Welder So I Welded Some More and More Aug 15 2024

i was very surprised to see the bots making rude comments on last night’s video so i removed them including the bots who said i could not weld. oh well. it is pretty sad when there is all this negativity in today’s new world we now live in. since i wasted time with the bots in the morning, i had to work late to finish up the green door becoming the rear part of the frame rails for the 1937 Dodge Tribute Truck. i also pushed the limits of the Hobart Hander 100 by trying to weld steady on the 11 gauge material from the green door. the over heat light came on so i switched to arc welding with the Lincoln AC/DC buzz box. then the brand new 40 year old box of welding rods had been mis-packaged at the factory. instead of welding with 7014 welding rods i was grabbing random welding rods of all different values so great fun to weld after that one bot told me i was not a good welder. but at 9pm, all the welding was done and looking good. plus Amazon has y 23rd book which is a picture book only in eBook form because of the cost to print. “King of Obsolete Pictorial Book” is free as an eBook from August 15-19 2024, please click on link below to enjoy thansk

this is a daily updated channel from the Kingdom in Northern Manitoba Canada where every day is a struggle to survive in the new world we now live in. the life style of recycling, re-using, re-purposing plus living with no money is what the Kingdom has been all about for the last 28 years. we have been doing it long before it became a cool lifestyle. thansk

  2. You did exactly what I would have done, excellent.
Younger people don't think like us old guys. I don't know that bosses age but I trained my son and it took awhile to sink in.
    Keep up the fantastic work.

  3. Nice job on those frame rails, your moving right along on them to.
I think a lot of these "book-smart" bots would do well to be forced to spend time on an old school farm and get exposed to farmer fixes to set them straight on a lot of real world how-to rather than some ideal labratory conditions book theory.

  4. Those frame rails look really good, from what they came from to now, your welding skills are pretty good, but are they better than that Brad fella, all the KoO welding projects look rock solid, excellent 👍

  5. Mr. King of Obsolete, All I am going to say is my auto tech professors all said you never heat, weld, drill or even strike a frame. They were of the opinion that frames were all tempered alloy and unless you were going to anneal the whole thing and re-temper it you would wind up with brittle spots. I've done it myself, but only for my own use and benefit. ben/ michigan
