‘I was appalled’: Mike Pezzullo slams ‘disgraceful’ Chinese officials who body-blocked Cheng Lei

Former Home Affairs secretary Mike Pezzullo says “I was appalled” at witnessing the actions of the Chinese officials who attempted to body-block Sky News presenter Cheng Lei from participating in a recent press conference.

“To have in that room, that body-blocking occurring, I thought was disgraceful,” Mr Pezzullo told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“I do want to applaud the quick-witted actions by the officers, I believe they’re from the Prime Minister’s department.”

Mr Pezzullo said the officers tried their best to move the officials along with “grace, dignity, and I think very good judgment” without making a big scene.

  1. So one of our major parties appeases a horrible communist dictatorship which wants all of us down under. It is truly a scary situation for our country and most Australian people don't know how dangerous it is.

  3. While China is a communistic country that appears to want to rule the world, just as the political muslims do, we should not trade with them at all.
Very soon, this will all change, and all these fighting stances will be gone, and the peace for 1000 years that has already been agreed to by 209 countries will become fact.
Then world trade will probably all be reorganised for the better.
