  1. So Connor ran from the lift to his parents arms. Then after explaining to good parents what happened, insisted they talk to the janitor. And the lift was still there with the doors open after all that time? I don't know of any lift that would wait like that. I'm calling bs.

  2. I've had this experience. I arrived at a Macdonalds in another dimension. They were serving dips with whole grain mustard, and another one with sweet chili sauce, and even one with a weird black bean flavour. It was totally disorientating and I was glad when I got back to reality where they serve curry sauce, sweet and sour and BBQ flavour. Even the ketchup had a weird tang to it. I was glad to be out of there I can tell you.

  3. There is an episode of unsolved mysteries where someone on an elevator like Connor gets transported to the civil war era in usa. He also does not step out of the elevator

  4. I too visited a McDonald's in a parallel reality. The fries were hot, the staff was super happy and friendly and the Big Mac looked exactly like the picture on the menu board and tasted awesome.

  5. The Vapor care sounds like it runs on water, probably in steam form, but power generated from some alternate source to produce the steam? I've heard this story before btw. The imperial eagle with the cursive g, though the previous telling mentioned an uppercase cursive g. I wonder how far in the future this was in. 20 years?

  6. The last time (and it was the LAST time) I ventured into a (unfamiliar) McDonalds the, erm, "diverse staff" was loudly arguing among themselves as to who needed to do various "clean up" jobs before their shift ended (and who got to leave first). I really thought a physical fight was about to break out. They ignored me for some minutes (I was the only person at the counter) and finally a female employee ambled over and took my order, acting as though I was somehow blessed that she did so. This was the most unpleasant experience I have had, in a weird, urban "parallel environment" – I'll take an alien abduction over this any day of the week.
