I Tried Zelda Echoes of Wisdom…

I picked up Zelda Echoes of Wisdom today and thought we could give it a look for the first 90 minutes and see how it goes.

  1. Was unsure of this game but after seeing this I want to give it a shot, looks like a lot of fun traditional Zelda with some of the freedom of Totk in making solutions. I hope I can get past the blur this time, that gave me headaches during Link's Awakening

  2. Even in games with voice acting, I don't usually sit through the whole thing. It gets annoying really quickly if it doesn't have accompanying text and I can't skip because I can read way faster than the average person can talk. Besides, I want to play the game, not listen to a monologue.

  3. 30 to 60fps? No wonder I didn’t notice. I’m not a little bitch that gets car sick. Glad 60 is already programmed in. Should be locked on new hardware day 1 and ready for a replay. This game is charming tf outta me.

  4. Regardless how good a new Zelda game might be, I can't in good conscience support a company that is aiming to destroy as many people as possible with patent lawsuits intended to hoard ideas for themselves, stifling creativity and innovation in an industry where many developers have since surpassed Nintendo. It's honestly really depressing realizing Nintendo was never the good natured company I grew up with and it was all just a smoke screen to how draconian they truly are.

  5. One of the things that i love about this game so far is that this ia a thriving and living world that is ACTIVELY undergoing an attack as you play the game. In every other Zelda game that i have played, the attack has already happened or it starts before you start really playing. In Echoes, the land is thriving and the attack is evolving as you traverse the world.

  6. I hope Nintendo builds on this with their next system. I'd LOVE to see a Link/Zelda co-op style action/rpg game in the vein of Secret of Mana. It would be really cool to be able to have both Link and Zenda in the same party and be able to switch between their 2 ability sets.

  7. I finished it an hour ago on the ryujinx emulator in 4k 60fps very good games. Bit fiddly on the menu but overall excellent. Big game to. The irony no slowdown on the ryujinx emulator 60fps all day. So it runs better than the actual switch console

  8. My issue with this end of console life now games have a hard time running is BS. They should run better they know the exact limitations they have. If the game chugs then why did they not turn down or off what ever is causing the issue? You arnt supposed to push foward game tech if it comprimsed the experience in anyway.
