Welcome back to Zeepkist and today I decided to build an official tournament track for Zeepkist Super League! The track theme this time is “50 blocks” and I set out to build a track that’s easy to complete but I guess it wasn’t as easy as I thought! Great of kAN that he told that friend she should put on proper clothes. Not only for protection, but I'd imagine it wouldn't be a great look for her to turn up to a motorcycle course without protection.
I once dropped my bike going ~30-40km/h and slid across the road for a few meters (luckily the cars nearby reacted early enough and didn't run me over), and I'm so glad I was wearing my motorcycle pants/jacket. It hurt despite the protection, but it was all good again by the evening. The bike didn't fare as well; a few parts were bent and I needed a new front brake lever. If I hadn't worn proper equipment that day I would've needed new skin as well.
Mentioning RNG – I miss the RNG cats; no one seems to use them anymore.
Hm, if a skin graft is the goal, jeans is good protection for a slide. Always leather 😡
I’ve seen people on motorbikes wearing shorts and a T-shirt, infuriates me. I hope they never crash, but they’d deserve every single injury they get for not wearing correct gear.

I rode mopeds and a motorcycle and only once had a slide… A stupid drunk bicycle rider did cut me off (whyever he thought, that would be a good idea and end well…) and I flew over my steering bars at like 30kph (already braked down from 60kph), but only had a sliced jacket and a hardly bumped knee. My motorcycle ran fine for half a year after that, but then the engine died. Poor Suzuki GS500e in Jägermeister-optic.
overall this is a pretty good and very optimisable track, we'll see about the quality of other submissions but this is not bad by any means

I wonder if kAN was having so much trouble because of the little jump you said you had to arms up to clear. Maybe he was just taking it and losing speed
For some reason my first tought was this track backwards before you showed it up close. Since sometimes you make multi lobby track it would be interesting to see a track where you run each way once.

I've always disliked squids. Full gear or don't ride. Never needed it, but I haven't needed seat belts either.
Quite nice track! I kept on misaligning that speed check jump though. Is it straight on or do I just lack the skill level sometimes? 😅 Also, great talk about the safty wear for motorcycles!!
