I have thought of the idea (I think the first time I thought of it was in early 2021 when I started playing the game), but I gave up after swimming for a few minutes, and I just took the mermaid back and continued with my adventures by boat.

Seeing this video reminds me of the time that, just for the lols, I swam all the way from Reaper's Hideout to an active FotD. I didn't even have any real reason to outside of doing it for the heck of it. And as I approached, the skull went down and as I got into name-plate range of the island, they opened the vault, netting me my first FotD completion, according to Rare & Achievements. I didn't even plan to steal anything they had, because I didn't even really know what to expect out of it. Overall, a fun and silly tale to tell xD
