  1. On top of that, moving all the Pokémon to accommodate regional variants is something you might do once every two years or even less frequently. Spending 20–30 minutes reorganizing Pokémon boxes every couple of years doesn’t seem like a big deal, in my opinion.

  2. My method is: One "series" with the "default form" in dex order, separate boxes for regional variants and gender diferences and other different forms. The same method for shinies. Every box is on dex order too. For example, the Alola form box is on dex order, Alolan Rattata, Alolan Raticate, Alolan Sanshrew… and another box in same order with the shinies.

For me that order is the best to see easily what I'm missing.

Thanks for the video, I like to see how other people organize their boxes and those impresionant collections!

  3. My shiny Groudon ribbon master. I always wanted a shiny groudon since i was a kid and my mom got me a copy of ruby off ebay and it came with a full living shiny dex on it and i saw shiny groudon for the first time. This was around 2004 so hes been my favorite for 20 years. So of course i had to get one for myself on emerald and ribbon master him.

  4. Awesome video, I love seeing other people's stories and nicknames!

    I think I've got 2 favorite pokemon.

First of which would be my shiny Poipole I hunted for back in 2021, though it is now a Naganadel. I had to reset my original UM file in order to play back up to the point to hunt it, which hurt to do, but Poipole IS my favorite shiny. It took 2,975 SRs, and it was fittingly nicknamed "Vaccine" by BlueVacktor, since we were in a VC when I found it.

The second favorite would likely be a shiny Weavile I named "Sleight". I wanted to try making my first Ribbon Master, and I went with Weavile since it's one of my favorite pokemon, as well as being in all the switch titles, except LGPE of course. I caught him as a Sneasel in the Friend Safari. He's got all ribbons obtainable from Gen 6 and up, only missing the Master Rank Ribbon, like Pristine. I had thought about writing a short story, which I have never done before, about Sleight's journey since I had kept track of the exact order I got every ribbon. I didn't get far though, only 2 paragraphs.

Also, I was recently given a Go Skiddo in Home. I don't need it, and it still has its most recent game shown as Go, which guarantees it's legit. If you want it, I'll gladly trade it to you!

  5. That’s a great collection! 😀

I’m jealous to hear you have so many Ranger game copies and actually know how to wipe the save data. I wish I could buy one of those off of you after you get the shiny Manaphy lol

  6. The rarest Pokemon I have is a 10 anniversary Celebi.

My brother found a random copy of Pearl on the ground. I had just defeated Cynthia in Platinum. We both checked the save file and found the Celebi

  7. I went with a similar idea for my living dex; from the original region of the pokemon, at least, so I used remakes a lot, but it was very fun to return to a lot of regions I hadn't been to in a while, like unova and johto 😀 recently finished every form and mythical and everything for my own national dex, too!

  8. I’m so pissed I missed out on Zarude. I paid for the research in Pokémon GO to get one, I then transferred it so I could use it in SWSH but it turns out I can’t migrate it unless I have Zarude flag checked already 😩😩 my GO stamped Zarude is forever stuck in Home now

  9. Love it. Much more organised then mine is! Mine is just my living origin dex (almost there, 4 to go!), and then hundreds others just randomly scattered about 😂.

Also if you want Stonjourner from Go, let me know as I live in the UK and have loads!

  10. I’m almost done with mine. Finishing the SWSH DLC now. My next task is to fill it out all my marks to red (blue, red respectively):

    Circle – Original Trainer/Original Region, OT&OR
    Triangle – Mark, Ribbon
    Square – 5/6 IV, IV/EV Trained
Heart – Acceptable Ball, Acorn/ Original Pokeball
Star – Is Shiny, Full Shiny Line
Diamond – Unique, Irreplaceable (typically gift or event Pokemon)

  11. I happened to buy a japanese pokemon black with TWO shiny genesects. No idea if they're legit or not, I should check the dates, but its crazy I got multiple shiny genesects before a regieleki in any game.

I named my shiny Pawmi Tesla after Nikola Tesla Father of Electricity. I felt it fit as it's an electric type pokémon.

Also, HOW IN THE HELL DID YOU SE THE DIFFERENCE IN THE TAUROS SHINY FORMS!!! it's so subtle im sure ive failed it so many times by now.
