Btw when dealing with parasites it's best to live off the ground either in the middle of the ocean or in the sky though the ocean is much safer because the flyers can get you if you're in the sky

I personally think that the SRP mod goes best with quality of life mods like dynamic surroundings/dynamic lights. Instead of content mods like ice and fire or mowzies mobs

So i did some search and discovered that the ender dragon will be infected if you dont kill it before a parasite gets to it, i maybe took a long time and when i went to the end there was a parasited ender dragon lol

I remember I played scape and run parasites with my brother before and we died to some normal mobs trickshotting us (a skeleton shot me down into a pit of lava and I landed on one block but then a spider jumped onto me and pushed me into some lava and my brother died to a creeper)
Me being in pain seeing him not take some useful stuff and not keeping some backup iron weapons
